Ed, I am putting Quentin on our small but very mighty First Presbyterian prayer chain back in the Muskegon, Michigan, town where we spend summers. That chain has indeed caused miracles down through the years, and even as recently as last month. Plus my daily prayers will be with him. We have a very long plane ride back from Spain, and that's a lot of time to pray. God be with Quentin, and with you.

Ed, here is the entry on our prayer chain for Quentin. He will be blanketed in powerful prayer. God be with you.

Dear Mary,*

Ed, a friend and very dear grandfather of two sets of twins is asking for prayers for one of his grandsons who was found unresponsive by a friend, apparently from an accidental overdose of prescription meds. *They got his heart started, and he is on life support, but little brain activity is showing.

Please, for now we pray for a downright miracle. If God deems that not possible, we pray for strength for the family and good decisions by his doctors.

But a fighting miracle like is happening for those other twins we've been praying for, would be a blessing indeed.

Cyndy

Quentin is a handsome, caring, bright, athletic, funny, polite, and loving person. He is one of our four twin grandsons. On Sunday morning he was found by a friend and had no pulse. First responders arrived and got his heart started and he was rushed to the hospital. Apparently he accidentally overdosed on prescription medication. He has been on life support since then ( this is Tuesday morning), and two brain scans have shown no apparent activity. We have not given up hope, and still believe God will provide a miracle for our beloved Quentin, as he is a strong, athletic teenager. Nothing in my sixty seven years has prepared me for this, but I am trying to stay strong and positive. I post this not expecting or requesting your response, but to ask that if you pray, please, please include Quentin underhill in those prayers. May God bless you all for your prayers.

I am on my iPad and can't figure out how to attach a picture, but you can see several pictures os Quentin on my twin grandson's albums.
Bump; keep bumping this.

I have also asked for prayers for Quentin from a group I belong to. They are mighty prayer warriors and I'm sure they will storm the heavens with a request for God to intercede on Quentin's behalf.

Prayers for you, your family and, of course, Quentin. Will light a candle to go with the prayers. I'm so very sorry.

Saying a special prayer for Quentin and your family. Having 4 teen grandchildren, including a 17 year old, I just cannot imagine your anguish! Miracles do happen!
