The most famous person is John James Audubon. He was supposed to have been a racist so the Audubon’s shearwater and the Audubon’s oriole will be dropping his name.

This is all part of structural racism. This this should put an end to the world’s racial problems!
Oh, I don't think so. Unless you were being sarcastic. The world is a large place with a lot of leaders who don't give a damn about racism.

Right!?

How naive to think that The Villages is immune to cancers. Trickle down.

"Village", a SMALL settlement. Sounds pretty offensive, lol, no?The Villages removed the covered wagons to be p c in 2020. How long til someone comes out as offended by the name and requirements to settle in this not so small village with closed borders? Think it couldn't happen? Who knows, I'm not loosing sleep over it but stranger things than this have happened.

Well, yes. I just read 3+ pages of nonsense and useless blather that effects no one in any significant way but seems to offend many. Even chose to make couple silly posts of my own. That's 3/4 of an hour I just wasted. So, yes, I was affected, but very little.

When will this madness end.
The real issue is who has time to sit around and think of these things, and who put them in the authoritative position to make these decisions?

The silent majority continues to allow the changing of our core values, beliefs, history, tradition, et al.

The inclusive/exclusive " movement" is pure and utter BS promoted by minority-minority groups (not race) and allowed to continue unopposed/unchecked!

And it is in our/your back yard too.

Default Bird names

[QUOTE=TeresaE;2270814]I thought this must be either a joke or an urban myth. But it’s true. Just Google it. Here’s an example from the full statement of the society.

QUOTE]. So, they are only changing a few names. Get it done! I’m sure some can’t sleep well at night until it’s done.
