Default Oil Spill May move around Florida

I have read the above that the oil may move around Florida and go up to North Carolina. I also read that the oil leak may go on for two to three more months. If all this should happen, how could it affect life in the Villages?

My wife and I were at the "Villages, Fl." for a Lifestyle visit and we definitely want to live there. We just need to sell our home. A "friend" of my brought this up.

Note: We stayed in Gulf Shores, Al. this past Feb. and Mar. The beaches were gorgeous. Because of the oil we won't be going back there this winter. Very sad.

Any comments are welcome.

Thanks.

I personally do not see how the oil spill is going to have a traumatic affect on Village life here. From an ecological standpoint it is a disaster and could affect the beach areas negatively which means economics, which in and of itself is very serious. However, i do not see life in the Villages changing much in Jan. Feb. March.

I would say "Come on down"

I heard this two weeks ago. May or may not happen, depending on the currents in the Gulf.
