Good show on the History Channel on this week about this family feud. Too many commercials though.

Recorded it - will zoom thru commercials.

(commercials are a big reason that I like watching soccer games - 45 minutes of uninterrupted play per half with no commercials)(US National Team vs Brasil tonight!)

It's not that great. Like a baseball game. 1st inning McCoys kill one - Hatfields kill three. 2nd inning McCoys 4 - Hatfields 6. In the 3rd inning the McCoys bring in a designated hitter that gets a few hits (pun intended).

May end up 50 to 49 by the end.

I think it is great. I love Kevin Kostner in this series and Mare Whittingham.

We're really enjoying it...interesting history and of course, Kevin Costner. Good cast in addition to him...looking forward to tonight. It's more violent than I expected on the History Channel, but consider the material.....much better than watching reruns!

Default No Hatfields and McCoy's for me

My husband is watching it. Me??? Not..... My maiden name is McCoy, so I am the real McCoy!!! I found this show to be too violent. Everyone is killing everyone. It would give me nightmares! I asked my husband to watch it out in the lanai tonight so I didn't have to see any of it. Of course he's not complaining because it's so nice out.

Thanks for reminding me about this. I forgot to watch, but if anyone is interested, The History Channel is running all 3 episodes on Saturday beginning at 6 PM. I have my DVR set to record.

Default I'm with Happinow

I'm with you, Happinow. I watched the first episode, and all those gruesome head shots and the tragedy of wasted lives completely turned me off. I had been SO looking forward to the series, not only to see the STARS, but to learn about the reason for the feud. I gave up watching it.
