Default Pickleball question

I saw the new Seabreeze video on Pickleball, and I learned something that I didn't know...duh!

I didn't know you could play a ball off the back fence. Has it always been that way, or is that 'new' at The Villages?

That's not pickleball you were watching. It's a new game to TV called Platform Tennis. It's kind of a cross between tennis and racquet ball and off the fence play is part of the game. It's called Platform Tennis because up north it's built on a heated platform for winter play.

Default Paddle Tennis, not Pickleball

Richie,

I stand corrected. I rewatched the Seabreeze video and -- bingo -- they did say Paddle Tennis!

Thanks for correcting my goof.

Either game -- Pickleball or Paddle Tennis -- looks great for staying 'young' in The Villages!

The game you saw must have been platform tennis

With so few courts in TV, I can't see how this platform tennis can become too popular.
