Anywhere within 1/4 mile should be good enough for an instant departure. Go to 5 miles if you want to linger for a month or so.

That's taking Fake News to a new level. Can you please at least show the link to where you got that ridiculous number?

Default Toilet Paper Currency?

Will we call it “sheet” currency? Or like, you can buy a lot “sheet” with this?

Now I want to survive just to see how that turns out!

I think (not sure) what this person is referring to is a stat I read a while ago stating that of the people who own guns (it is not a very high percentage of the adult population) they average some crazy number per person - may not be 153 but why it is more than 1 or 2 is beyond me

Bwahahaha! Nothing even close to that... I'd love to know where you found that "statistic"... (p.s., you're only off by a factor of 100)

Plus, I like your use of the word "rabble" for gun owners... Nice touch!
I agree with you.

I think the numbers I have seen are about 300 million guns in circulation in the US, and about 50% of people own guns. So, that leads to 2 guns per person on average. I am not sure if that 50% number was taking into account children. So, the 123 might be a bit high - LOL.

And yeah, I think most gun owners a responsible and not rabble.

One or two? If you're a hunter you would have at least a couple shotguns for birds. A rifle for deer, maybe another for elk and moose. If you're into big game even more. That's not even taking into account for any home defense/self protection or recreational weapons.

If you're a competitive shooter you have even more. If you're a collector, more yet. Sorry those small numbers are beyond you.

I think it is "average". Some people do own hundreds, some own none. I don't recall where, I think it was the FBI, I read about 50% of Americans don't own a gun.

I subscribe to the pre-tribulation rapture theory so with any luck I can view their confusion from on high.

I'd be so unprepared if I was faced with long term survival. I have zero hoarding instincts, so it'd be 'make do with one week's worth of food' for me!

If you could just get ahold of that HAMMER...

A very good book.
