I looked at the link you provided. I find it interesting that the reporters who described the incident requested anonymity. I, personally, dismiss any report or reporter who provides any kind of information only if they can remain anonymous. What courage. It’s too easy to demean a person or institution when you can’t be called upon to back up your assertions by remaining anonymous.

Yes. People are showing us who they really are.

I did not see any surprises though. I have been reading between the lines (and not between the lines) for years around here. Toooooo long.

I am not very good at the "between the lines" reading, but hypocrisy runs rampant on here on this issue, and the hypocrites are standing to be counted at least.

The desire to hurt is so obvious and to flame out at someone's death is simply terrible, mean spirited and something I personally (although who cares) will never forget.

But they follow a lead firmly established.

JM is a hero as well, but he doesn't have the character I'd like my children to be around. Abandoning a family to me is something not to be forgiven for.

The only sudden interest in JM isn't sudden to me at all, it may be to others I don't know. I've known about he abandoned his family for decades.
I understand.

When he dies, let's magnify and present an over dramatic story.

Heck, anything to disrupt his being honored, and stay with the mood of the thread.

No win...you did what you wanted or was expected, so if there could be a winner, it would be you.

Another sad lesson from this entire thread.....naming winners and losers.
