I listened to Rush almost every day when I lived in Sacramento and he was on our local station KFBK back in the 80's. I ended up on the air for a couple of contests and they told me both times that Rush wanted to talk to me live on air. He was so kind, respectful, funny...what a great guy! I will forever miss him and forever be a ditto fan!

Rush was an Entertainer. Some of his words he didn’t even believe himself. He was from an area of the Midwest not many miles from my birthplace. RIP

He used to have a segment where he mocked and celebrated people who died of AIDS. So, now we can't mock him?
