On the Orlando NBC staion Sunday they did a piece about the numbers of drivers who speed by stopped school buses. Some buses had cameras monted on the bus to record the vilations. Absolutely amazing.

Bus drivers noted there were days with as many as 300-500 violations....in one day!!!!!!

Now the school district is proposing putting cameras on all the buses and ticketing the violators like traffic cams.

And then what crawls out of the politically correct () woodwork? Those who express concerns over invasion of privacy!!! That the cameras would be nothing more than a revenue generator!!! Once again the media glorifies the stupid, minority position by even presenting it.

Where is the parental outrage?

If these numbers of violations....endangering the very lives of children.....are captured by ONLY the few cameras tested.....think of the overall exposure of the 1000's and more every single day across the country....

Since this is most likely a national problem, why is it not of interest to the main stram media?

Because it does not have a political objective....no mystery in that statement.

I have not been able to stop thinking about this problem ever since seeing that news clip.

Where is the outcry of the real imminent danger these kids are in.....EVERY DAY?

Same objective as the majority of threads posted....awareness? Possible discussion/other views for or against. Does the fact that it happens bother anybody else?

Usually subjects presented have a certain spontenaity, or they don't. This one surprised me at zero!!
