Default Social distancing sample...TV gets an 'F'

At least at Red Sauce restaurant at 6:15 pm this evening. At least 100 people waiting in line for pick up.....masks were the exception at less than 10% of total.
Social distancing? Non existent....except for those few with masks.

ALL others were belt buckle to back pocket, shoulder to shoulder.

It is that complete disregard for the guidelines that will cause the return to businesses opening to be a failure.

Very disappointing.

Shame on Red Sauce lack of management!

I think people are getting the (false) sense that this is about over and life is returning to normal quickly. Hopefully they don't pay for their mistake with their lives.

They don't give a hoot, all they want is your money.......
Wait until costumers are allowed into restaurants again. After management checks your forehead temperature for fever, you might be able to go in with a 101 degree fever because of the green paper in your pocket...

We were at Glenview tonight and it was a disorganized mess. Same owners as Red Sauce. You would think experienced restaurant managers would have this figured out.

Glenview was a total disaster. Was told my food would be ready at 4:30, at 5:45 I asked about it, they went into the kitchen and came out with it. The order was shorted by half. Got home, the steak was cold, the potatoes not fully cooked and the veggies were super bland. The pork chop was fair, but cold. They told people ordering at that time there would be an hour and a half wait. It was complete chaos. I think the staff were totally overwhelmed.

We did a Pick Up from Texas Road House. On time, organized and they got Stimulated because they are the kind of operation that deserves it. Download their App and all you have to do is take a picture of the BarCode on the receipt and the tip can be added on your own cell phone. No Touch and no Contact. Order put in a container in our trunk.

I was so disappointed about Jersey Mikes with the no mask thread but am very grateful for the post from the OP. I got weak for a hot minute and considered going there because of the relentless commercials all week from their owner. Shame on them for not wearing a mask while preparing food that isn't cooked especially during a time like this. You saved us.

A month or so ago I wouldn't have considered any take out. Now I'm gonna risk it once or twice a week. Only places that cook the food No sangwiches or even just a Pizza. I miss the BONEFISH the most. This won't be forever unless we do the wrong thing as mentioned in the post's above. Imagine, it could be the BIG FOREVER. Wake Up Buttercups!

So basically in 2 to 3 weeks if there is no increase in Covid numbers, Glenview and City Fires test of no need for social distancing worked.

OMG - are folks here THAT DUMB or IDIOTIC? The majority+ of TV people are in the RISK group, many in HIGH RISK of the infection. So, if these accounts are correct COVID will continue to spread here or worse. It only takes a few that can infect 6X....x 6X.... This news is disgusting to me. I mean, with all the latest information out there and news...what the hell will it take for some folks to use common sense. I must say, if I personally saw that irresponsible display by so many I would find it difficult to hold my anger.

We try to follow all the guidelines. Mask in stores. Absolute social distancing. Wash hands. Conscientious disinfecting and cleaning. No one in our house other than us. Careful of packages and mail. Cook 95% of our meals to minimize risks.

And all it would take is one idiot to cough or sneeze on something, and.... grrrrr.

Dam, we ventured out of our Log Cabin up north tonight for some much deserved takeout. Granted, it was about a 40 mile round trip for dinner, but it was worth it (what the He!!. gas is cheap). We placed our order before we left the house, we were asked our name, what the make, model and color of our car was, and what time we expected to pick up our order. We pre-paid, including tip, on our credit card and began our journey. After getting some gas and dropping off our bills at the post office, we pulled into the Q in the parking lot. When we got to the front of the line (about a 5 minute wait) a very friendly women wearing a mask brought out our food, we popped the trunk open and she put in our food and waived goodby to us as we drove away. The food was delicious. I wish this could be the new normal, too good. However, the resturants can't make a living this way long term, so things will eventually have to get back to whatever the new normal will eventually look like?

At least a hundred people? Now, that's worth a photo post.
