First of all don’t blame the restaurant or country club people and accept responsibility yourselves! You all know the SD rules so be big boys & girls & organise yourselves that way when lining up!! 6 feet apart. Not rocket science! Y’all might want to cook at home more too, it won’t kill you, but Covid-19 might just do that. Your false sense of security due to the sunshine will come to haunt you if a 2nd wave of this sweeps through so do your utmost to prevent it.

Default Eat at Home

Does anyone in The Villages know how to cook!
IMHO, almost any home cooked meal beats poor health practices and luke-warm, badly prepared food, along with the frustrations mentioned here.
If you have to go out, use the restaurants mentioned in another post. They seem to be well organized and have good quality food. And, they care about our health!

We drove by Chili's in Spanish Springs last evening about 5 and there were about ten people waiting outside for orders...not social distancing there either.

Social distancing? Non existent....except for those few with masks.

ALL others were belt buckle to back pocket, shoulder to shoulder.

It is that complete disregard for the guidelines that will cause the return to businesses opening to be a failure.

Very disappointing.

Shame on Red Sauce lack of management!
Don’t believe you - I haven’t seen a hundred people waiting in line except wackos panicking outside SAMs club in the morning. Only people I have seen ( in my opinion) are outsiders or young heads of mush not wearing masks .

So why in hell does TV get an F for something that Red Sauce does?

You people that are haters of The Village are truly pathetic; I-75 does go north and south if TV isn’t for you anymore. 😡

It’s not the restaurants fault. Adults need to take responsibility for their actions.

I was pretty annoyed with Winn Dixie yesterday. They have no one sanitizing the carts, no one counting the customers despite a sign proclaiming a 150-customer limit for the store, no wipes for customers to wipe the carts down themselves. No one-way aisles, and the customers weren't respecting the 6-foot circles stuck to the floor at the cash registers.

But DAMN they have good carrot cake.

I really do not understand. Are people not watching the statistics of number infected and the number who have died? There is so much we don't know about this virus. But one thing we do know we are not immune as a community!

For those of you that still believe everything should be closed and people need to stay home, take the time to google Dr Ericksons covid 19 briefing on uoutube. It is a little long, but you are sitting at home doing nothing anywau. This is a scientific and common sense briefing about how our immunities work. This is the 1st time in history , that well people have been quarantined. He makes some really great points.

Sounds to me like you just need to stay home. That’s what you have the right to do. You don’t have the right to tell other people how they must act. This may come as a shock to you, but there’s a whole bunch of us that realize this whole thing has been overdone and overhyped. we’re ready to get back to living our lives as usual.

Nobody here heard of COOKING. it can be simple, . its safer to go to the supermarket with your mask and gloves on once every 2 weeks than stand in line with those who DO NOT CARE about anyone's safety. How many hands do you think that food has been thru.

We drove by at 5:30 we observed the same. My regret I didn’t take a photo to post here. That side of LSL with City Fire was jammed with people. We also noticed that people were sitting at the picnic tables over looking Lake Sumter near WVLG ( roped off with yellow caution tape). Yup they pushed the caution tape out of the way.

Oh yea on the drive back home Arnold Palmer’s patio was jammed no social distancing there either.
