Another gripe. Post game presentation on the field. What’s with Terry Bradshaw??? Why was HE chosen - horrible decision. Seems that he was late and the Commisioner had to take over, THEN Bradshaw appeared. Horrible commenting and questioning by him to the Eagles owner and q-back. Seemed as if he was on pain pills or booze. Terry time to hang up the mike. Retire already.

New Orleans- Isn't that the Jazz Capital of the world? I know Jazz is fading out like all good music, but just a little during half-time could have made the show .......

How about "The Village People"? They only have two songs so it would have been over quickly.

I believe I’ll just stop there.
I find most of this thread to be offensive and racist.

The theme of this Superbowl had something to do with love thy neighbor and we're all in this together. I wasn't feeling that in the half time show which was apparently about some soap opera feud between Kendrick and Drake (should anybody care). Of course, I couldn't understand a word of the performance and it could hardly be called musical. I 'll grant it some high energy choreography. Prior to the game, Lady Gaga (not a big fan) gave a moving performance of "Hold My Hand" focusing of the heroic responses to the more recent disasters across this country. This performance was completely in line with the theme of togetherness and would have been a more widely accepted part of a half-time show. Spineless Goodell has made some bad choices.

My takeaway of this thread though: a bunch of entitled white wealthy geezers had their feelings place hurt by a performance of black people and came here to qq hard.
I'm forced to disagree----that performance SUCKED and will always SUCK regardless if the performer was black, white, red, yellow, purple, green, male, female, gay. straight, transgender or from the 3rd moon of Jupiter. It was so bad that it blew the top off the suckometer. But I liked Samuel l Jackson also.

I have to say I missed a lot of this!

And I’m feeling tired today. Glad that I’m retired and can spend a lazy day here in TV.

Did you count the number of times BRADY said "I"

I know. Some of that was questioning by burkhart. Some was interesting adding perspective. But some became over the top. Like TBs $750k watch he was wearing.
But IMO he’s still GOAT. But not as a color commentator. Better than early season, but….

It must be hard for him not to be the one on the field. I found his comments analytical, in general, perhaps a bit dry.

I thought Brady’s insight as a Super Bowl quarterback was particularly intriguing and insightful. What he said about being extremely nervous struck a nerve with me. Three-peat nervous pressure seemed exactly what Mahomes was feeling most of the game. No doubt it takes a team, in addition, to a superstar quarterback to three-peat.

Default Further re Super Bowl

Not exactly sure why thread was closed, but I wanted to ask; did anyone feel there might have been something else going on with the Chiefs? As Brady mentioned there was practically no pass protect. The team left Mahomes open to attack. The Eagles didn't even have to blitz. It was very difficult for him to do anything.

KC offensive line was offensive and Mahomes had a bad day running for his life over and over.

Shocking how few running plays KC ran before score got away from them.

A friend of mine (elderly) made a comment about the halftime show, and it got me to thinking. His point: Who can afford tickets to the Super Bowl? The super rich or corporations? Would they be the ones who would be happy with the halftime show? I thought maybe the NFL was trying to make things more enticing for the younger crowd (as in the new sports added to the Olympics), but will that demographic, bring any money in? I don't know the answer, and maybe I'm missing something.

I don't pay much attention to the halftime show because it's too hard to hear, even when it's a performer I'm familiar with. But I think a rap like this was fast and too hard to understand. I had to go read about it.
