Mikark,
I see both red and gray here, I'm not that far from you. Lots of old oak trees around here - and lots of squirrels. |

Is this the same as a fox squirrel? I saw around last January a critter that looked more like a ring-tailed lemur than a squirrel on the greens near the Arnold Palmer CC. Wonder if anyone in TV has pet ring- tailed lemurs that got out?? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ring-tailed_Lemur Last edited by Taltarzac725; 11-07-2008 at 01:12 PM. |

We had another beautiful day here and a ton of grey squirrels are everyplace. We don't have black squirrels right here but we do have red. They are the bad little guys who chew up the electric lines in you attic. For some reason, the red squirrels are known to do more home damage.
When they were clearing the oak trees out for building across the road I saw a lot of what looked like monkey squirrels in Florida. My mother-in-law use to cook squirrels for her large family. She would work for days cleaning and gutting out these tiny bodies that were all head and tail. She would need 35 squirrels to feed her family of 8!! ![]() |
