Tiger Woods never hit the brakes during car wreck, investigation reveals
Officials have said there was no evidence he was impaired at the time

The investigation into Tiger Woods’ horrific car wreck last month that left him with serious leg injuries has revealed that the pro golfer did not hit the brakes as he lost control of the car, according to reports.

Sources told TMZ in a report published Saturday that investigators believe Woods never hit the brakes as his car veered off a roadway near the border of Rolling Hills Estates and Rancho Palos Verdes in late February.

Investigators also said there was no evidence to suggest that Woods ever even took his foot off the gas.
The Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department reportedly executed a search warrant to retrieve data from the black box that was in the 2021 Genesis SUV Woods was driving at the time of the wreck.

Officials have said there was no evidence he was impaired at the time of the crash.

...so if that is true - how did his right leg get so mangled??
we'll see as more comes out.

My son had a wreck in 2011 and broke his tibia & libia. He too has screws, a plate & a rod. He was not allowed to put any weight on it. He was going to college at the time and we rented a power chair because of hills. Finally three months later he had to have PT for a couple of months because he could not walk.
It was very tough for him but as a parent you suffer as well.

Let the REAL SUSPICIONS really begin now. I like Tiger, and hope that he recovers quickly and fully. Not sure what the CA legalities are regarding this, but IF the "permission" is not given, the questions and assumptions will be rampant.>

TIGER WOODS Published 40 mins ago
Cause of Tiger Woods' car crash determined,
but truth may never be revealed

The golf great is recovering from multiple surgeries in Florida

The cause of Tigers Woods’ car crash last month has been determined.

However, the Los Angeles County sheriff said that detectives would not release details of the crash on Wednesday due to privacy concerns for Woods, who suffered significant injuries in the Feb. 23 crash.

"A cause has been determined, the investigation has concluded," Villanueva said during a live social media event on Wednesday. He added that investigators need permission from Woods to release the information.

"We have reached out to Tiger Woods and his personnel," Villanueva continued. "There's some privacy issues on releasing information on the investigation so we're going to ask them if they waive the privacy and then we will be able to do a full release on all the information regarding the accident."

The Associated Press reported that it reached out to Woods’ agent, Mark Steinberg, but he did not respond to an email for comment as of Wednesday afternoon. According to Greg Risling, a spokesperson from the Los Angeles County district attorney, no complaints against Woods have been filed to their office involving Woods and the crash.

"We have all the contents of the black box, we’ve got everything," Villanueva said. "It’s completed, signed, sealed, and delivered. However, we can’t release it without the permission of the people involved in the collision."

In this day and time it all depends on who you are. So sad, not that I care that much....

Why, why why?

Have you seen pictures of the car, notably the front end damage?

I own a Hyundai. When I purchased it I was told by the salesman that Hyundai is the only car manufacturer in the world that makes it's own steel and their steel is stronger than most others. I did some investigation into the matter and found that they use an advanced high-strength steel in their cars. Maybe this incident is a great advertisement for Hyundai.

Today's new generation of Hyundai models use a material in their vehicle structures called Advanced High Strength Steel, or AHSS.
Every production car starts life as rolls of steel, and not all are created equal. Hyundai wanted only the best, a material known as Advanced High Strength Steel. Generally speaking, AHSS is any steel that exceeds normal standards for tensile strength in terms of pressure and is usually measured in megapascals or MPa. Compared to regular mild steel, Hyundai's Advanced High Strength Steel has double the tensile strength compared to regular steel but is 10% lighter.
