Well if they were giving something for free, it’s going to be packed

Wonder if prices will be lower than the other Publix since they don’t have to pay the Developers.

They have to pay the Trailwinds Developer. I think the prices will be the same.

Very nice store and friendly and helpful employees.

Wish it was more competitive with other stores in the area.

You pay for convenience. If you want price then you accept less.

They do stock more things than most supermarkets for sure.

Found a few things we had been looking for such as horseradish and plain Kodiak Hot Cake mix (in other publix only saw the cinnamon and choc chip versions).

Nice store and (currently) well stocked. What I found surprising is in the "Deli area" they had a "public" buffet (serve yourself) items. Open olive bar with the glass "sneeze protector" over it that the little lady almost got her head under but her hair def made it and wide opened fried chicken items (strips, nuggets etc) that you pick up with tongs. You don't see much of that type of thing these days with sanitizing being the big thing. They did have a fresh "salad bar" but employees with gloves & masks made the salads as you instructed them. So if they could have open olive bar and loose opened fried chicken stuff why couldn't they have an opened salad bar? Fresh produce is different because you can wash them first.

They did have a very large selection of PACKAGED prepared meals compared to the Colony store which has comparatively very little.

Actually it's Walmart and Aldi and the big box stores that keep the prices down. Competition

Default Needs improvement in healthy procedures

The subway making line did not keep customers 6 feet apart. The second employee worked faster than the first employee causing the second customer to loom over first customer in making selections. Very unnerving. The salad bar and olive bar had communal serving spoons. No way would I touch that.

Store looked very appealing. Can’t wait until this viral spread is over.

I always order my sandwiches online and never wait for them to be made. Just order, set the pickup time and forget the crowd.

In national business surveys Publix is either a leader or very high as bring family friendly, pay of employees, hiring and moving there own into management among other things. I use Publix not only because of the quantity but I also don’t mind paying a little more for a business that treats there employees well, just remember when people are sad about some store going out of business in there area , well did they use that store or did they go to the big box store to save a little

When I use the olive bar at the Publix on Kristine way, I take a produce bag, put my hand through it and pick up the serving spoon that way. Then when I am done, I reverse taking the bag off and throw in the garbage that is near the deli. This avoids having to touch the serving spoon at all.
