Default Transfer of 8mm and super 8 to DVD

I have about 25-30 400 ft roles of Reg 8 (from my parents--from the 40's and 50's) and Super 8 (from the 60's and 70's). I'd like to get these transfered to DVD. Has anyone done this to preserve their old movies? Have you found any good rates?

Only know what I read for ads in the Daily Sun. There is a shop advertised..I think it is located in Leesburg?
They advertise they can transfer most any mode to dvd. I have no idea about price.
