Default A truely amazing Christmas miracle

A friend of ours and his wife have a young son, about 2 years old. The night before last at 2 a.m. all were asleep in their respective bedrooms.

A car, with a 21 year old drunk driver, slammed through the front of their house and directly into the bedroom of the child. The entire bedroom and everything in it was destroyed with one exception.

The small square of space where the baby was laying on his mattress was not harmed. The child was still asleep when his panic stricken parents plowed through the debris to locate their angel.

TH,

This is wonderful to hear. (I mean that in the absolute sense of that word 'wonderful.') How joyous for the parents to find their angel still asleep in his bed. And I bet they did not see that other angel -- the one who had just left the room.

Thank you, TH, for sharing this with us.

Thanks for sharing this story. This truly was a Christmas miracle. When I told my son the story he raised his hand and said "That would be me." Meaning he would have slept through the entire incident.

Boom, my thoughts exactly.
