Of course not. They instituted a green economy 100,000 years ago and use electric flying saucers. It takes them a long time to get here on 300 miles/charge

I don't think anyone doubts that life, in some form, exists elsewhere. Developing the technology to traverse extreme distances (10s, 100s, 1000s of lightyears) is another issue.

Very true. On our last cruise when someone asked where the ship gets electricity from the capt said they had a very long extension cord from the original port of Ft Lauderdale.
