We (Earthlings) have just developed a space ship that can travel at the speed of light. We want to go visit other planets (in other galaxies) to observe.
We are looking for volunteers for a trip that will take (oh something like) a few thousand years. Anybody???

i believe what you claimed to have seen.
One misunderstood scientific fact is that unless your born on a planet with earth like gravity no alien can walk amongst us. Eg. Those born to martian colonists and raised there would be in agony if they came to earth ¹ the expanse . They would most likely need a human avatar to walk amongst us ² k-pax

Actually, if you are talking about travelling to other galaxies, the nearest one (Andromeda) is about 2 MILLION light years away.

Kinda like those radio news shows where they relate a crazy a$$ story, like a woman climbing into a zoo exhibit and pretending to be the animals, and then the radio hosts ask the audience, "Did this occur in Florida or somewhere else?" The craziest stuff is usually in Florida.
