One can get a lot of house for the money in Texas. Here is an all brick highly upgraded house in Ft. Worth for $84/sq.ft. It seems to me the cost of materials to build it would exceed the asking price! 4001 GLADNEY LN, FORT WORTH, TX Property Listing - For Sale - MLS# 12082965 - ZipRealty

The gates appear to be very sturdy. Will keep the rif-raf out. Probably not many gators to worry about either.

That looks like a beautiful home and the Zillow estimate is even less than the asking price.

To me, the only major thing wrong with the house that would bring the value way, way down is IT IS LOCATED IN TEXAS!!!

It has a gate...it's a gated community. A prospective buyer would have to find out if there are any power lines nearby to bring elctricity. You would need to put in a water well with an electric pump etc. No electric; no deal.

Shhh! People from Texas are quite proud of their state. Most of them display Lone Stars on their houses to show their pride.

A Texan colleague once gave me a refrigerator magnet that said, "Don't mess with Texas." The fear was instilled in me.

That originated as a slogan to keep people from littering, I believe. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Don't_Mess_with_Texas

A town so small, that both city limit signs, are on the the same stick.

Called "No WheresVille".

Built for a hermit, who don't like people.

200 miles from a major city, is too isolated for me.

Hey, there doesn't appear to be any restrictions on lawn ornaments by these photos!

I wouldn't let my dog walk in that.
