Yeah, but how fast were you going, really? 90 m.p.h.? You missed a good deal.

[QUOTE=Golfingnut;820759]I have completed an extensive study to find a better suited location for the folks that are concerned about Taxes, Traffic, Neighbors too close and exspantion.

Google Dryden Texas to find the very place where none of the problems above will happen to you.

$59,000 Dollars will buy this wonderful ranch.

205 Acres in Terrell County, Texas - Property - LandAndFarm.com - Land for Sale[/QUOT

Being from Texas, I can tell you that you will have rattlesnakes, coyotes, buzzards and other beautiful neighbors in this area. You will NOT have cable TV, cell phone service or water and sewer. You will need to drill over 2500 feet to get water and keep your fingers crossed that there will be water there. It will be brutally hot in summer, cold in winter and a nice breezy day will have wind 35 MPH. I am sure it would be a long cart ride to play golf. :-)

Oh, and if you want more seclusion, drive on down to Marfa, TX. Big Bend is a great place to visit, but no one CAN live there. Lol

The listing agent is puffing. No true Texan would deign to call that little patch of ground a ranch!

If anyone wants to buy a real ranch without moving to The Great State of Texas here is one for sale a little closer to The Villages, in Sunny Florida. Bankruptcy Auction, 5,700 /- Acres, McCall Ranch - Property - LandAndFarm.com - Land for Sale

This reminds of a saying, a co-worker had in his cube at work:

Thoe who die with the most toys, wins!

I almost wrote, "Those who die with the most toys, have more toys that will get rusty"!!!!

As we age, more stuff means, more work to maintain it.!!! Not for me!!!

Florida still has a lot of undeveloped land you can purchase and the nearest doctor and hospital would be much closer than this Texas "no place" ranch.

A small ranch on 42 somewhere between Weirsdale and Paisley looks better to me.
