DK thanks for the info. I have never been an Apple / Mac fan but I did put together an IIE clone years ago. Not being a gamer would leave more room for music but I would have to reduce the 30 gig Pink Floyd collection down a tune or two.

To me the one of the most amazing devices for the common man is the GPS. The technology behind the device is fairly simple in theory but then it is put into a device that fits in the palm of your hand still blows my mind. Here is a hand held device that can tell within feet where you are anywhere in the world. Now add to that what has been done with that technology by adding it to cell phones, automotive navigation units, golf course locator's, and the list goes on and on. Amazing technology.

A 16 gig iPhone will hold over 3000 songs. I don't think Pink Floyd had quite that many. Once on the device, the format is a little different than what's burned directly from a CD.

My Pink Floyd collection is 30.9 gig and contains over 3800 tunes, outakes, live concerts, bootleges BBC sessions, and studio recordings. Yes I am a PF junkie. On my last trips to TV I loaded up my GPS that will play MP3's through the car radio with the Oh By The Way 16 CD set and off I went. Nothing better that doing a non stop drive to TV listening to PF at 3 or 4 in the morning. Sure makes the 17 hour drive fly by.

What are the best games for the iPhone? I was thinking about buying a Nintendo DS for the "brain games" but wonder if the iPhone has anything similar.
