Did the NFL and United Way have a parting of ways or at least an end of a contract? I no longer see any United Way ads during NFL games.

Here is a great site for charitable giving. It does not cost you a penny. When you search a penny goes to the charity of your choice. Try it out, no gimmicks.

My husband and I are animal lovers, (especially dogs and cats and horses) so we give to several organizations that provide care for these homeless and abused animals.
We also contribute to charities for children, cancer research and our soldier's and their families.

Now that I am retired, I have unfortunately had to reduce my monetary charity donations to a bare minimum, but whenever someone wants to give me a gift, I ask them to instead donate the monies to the City of Hope in Duarte, CA. They are a cancer research hospital and have done marvelous work especially for a very good friend of mine in the 80's with Hodgkins Lymphoma and is now a thriving mother of 2. For this I am eternally grateful to COH.
