He is nearly 37 now! And still remembers that day!
By all accounts, she was a kind and gracious lady. How nice that you got to meet her!

What a great memory for your son.........and for you.

She was lovely, apparently inside and out, to take the time for a 4 year old child.....as she did.

It has been said that Will & Kate do not want to encumber their daughter, when they have one, with a first name of Diana. The press attention and comparisons would be too much. But it would be lovely to have a Queen Diana at last. Failing that, Victoria Elizabeth Diana Catherine gets my vote.
For a boy, James Philip William Charles. Will know soon!

What is it that makes watching the "Royals" so interesting? I'm not sure, but I have always loved it. Maybe because it is as close to a fairy tale as it can get!

I dunno. But I agree. All the traditional pomp and circumstance, the pageantry, the "properness". A little of Cinderella and a bit of Mary Poppins and it allows ordinary people to enjoy a bit of watching another way of life.

We ordinary people probably have a much more comfortable life but the royals appear to live in a goldfish bowl with a lot of dignity. I am such a fan of Kate and Will!
