Thumbs down What I Like About Painting ?!?!?!?!

NOTHING!!!!! But if you are going to paint we went to Lowes and bought Valspar brand. I can truly say that this is the 1st time that I'd ever used paint with that only required 1 coat.

F16, I hear you sold Kentucky! If this is true .. Congratulations!

(And change your profile information!)

Hopefully Teddy and Lolli Pup can get together in the Fall at the Dog Park. Oh, and Patience and Biggins also, of course.

F16 - Congrats on selling your house!!!!! Here's hoping we all get to sell this year and join you in TV! I would gladly be painting my new house instead of waiting for a buyer on this one.

""Relocated St Joey from cold mud, upside down, and facing street to right side up, bathed, and sitting on window inside house facing water. HEY MIKEY - HE LIKED IT !!!!""

Hey 16...You guys MUST take St. Joe to the new house and put Him in a place where he can be seen..

Noni..I believe St Joe must face the road, not the house

Yes Linda, we are all defrosted now, as you are. In fact weather predictions are for high 70's low 80's this weekend with plenty of sunshine! Im sure Ill love the weather its the lifestyle I miss! Thanks for the vote of confidence about the house. Wish the leaves would come out and the grass get green, makes everything look so much nicer. We have had lots of lookers but no takers!

I don't like painting either but it is instant gratification. I like Ralph Lauren from Home Depot. Only one coat and the Shoreline blue is so pretty. I think. However I liked your chocolate and butterscotch too EFF.

I don't think you should be doing stuff with St. Joseph in the mud. Would YOU like it? NOT! Next thing you know it will be the BVM. Hmmmf.

I know. I know. It worked, but should the end justify the means???

I agree Nonie, it will help us when it gets greener!! I had a showing, and the realtor told me they were ready to make an offer the minute they walked in the house....before they even saw the rest of the property!! But because of the dang leaves not being on the trees yet, they saw a road way off in a distance and didnt like that ugh! .

I have a "wishing rock" my Mother brought back from Ireland...I make a wish everyday!! Good luck with your wishing box!! .

Congratulations F-16!! That is wonderful news!!

Gracie, I know I know, I really felt bad burying him in the mud. But it seems to work for everyone and I dont think he minds. Actually I think hes glad to help us out and believe me, when this joint sells, he will have a place of honor in our new home in TV. Promise!

Default Oops

Oops. I misunderstood the topic. I took the "Fun with Painting" class through the Lifelong Learning College. It was painting. It was fun.
