Question Synchronicity.

http://www.beliefnet.com/Wellness/20...ak-Chopra.aspx

I am probably sounding like some 60s Flower Child, but did find this of interest given today's events as well as those of many other days.

I minored in Religious Studies at the University of Nevada, Reno towards getting some kind of understanding of the problem of evil given an all knowing God.

I like the Police's song though "Synchronicity" more than thinking about these incredibly deep subjects.

There's got to be a joke in there somewhere. It's at the very least some kind of conflict.

It can be difficult sharing the deeper wisdoms on this forum...I've been wondering if there is an Intregal group in TV or interest in starting one for this reason.

Not really. I was trying to figure out why evil happens in the world and God allows this to occur. This was mainly because of the 2-24-1976 murder of Michelle Mitchell on my birthday. Lots of other evils as well some of which involved my father as an insurance adjustor in things like the Harvey Wagon Wheel bombing. I got to meet the Casino Security Officer at Harvey's Wagon Wheel when my Dad took me along with him to see the damage. Harvey’s Wagon Wheel bombing: The bizarre but true story of a crime gone wrong. FBI links Peninsula cold case murders to Reno killing in 1976 - San Jose Mercury News

I was a student of Mrs. Barbara Mitchell at Earl Wooster High School in Reno, Nevada when this murder occurred. Her family gave me the Michelle Mitchell Memorial Scholarship in 1976-1977 after I met much of the family at their home in the Spring of 1976.

Tal: The shows being broadcasted over television pretty much sum up our society and provide an understanding of the problem and cause of evil. Secularism dominates in our culture and is replaced in the form of celebrity money drugs sex. There is in my view no esoteric cause it simply lack of morality, self sacrifice and discipline. Every where one looks Christians are being denied or ridiculed for exercising their right to express their belief
Its cool to have an orgy but its a state violation to pray before a football game.............................................. .....

I like what Deepak Chopra says about practicing recapitulation.

I don't know what that is, but I like

Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.

I love people who try to do that. I find that people who put down others beliefs are wishing they had something sometimes to turn to.

I am not a good example. I often doubt. But I think that religious values taught early are a good thing. Having a conscience is NOT a given and we have to be taught to think in terms of right and wrong.

Atheists used to be quiet. Now many can't wait to jump on the foolish believers. Put down church goers. It isn't kind at all. We all know that all church goers aren't wonderful examples. But NOT All of them.

As I say, I often doubt. But scathing and cutting remarks aren't warranted about others religion. Unless killing infidels is part of their faith.

The Golden Rule in World Religions

All the major world religions seem to have some variation of the Golden Rule.
