Thumbs up

We love DeLeon Springs State Park. Great hiking trails, swimming, and just fun.

There is a book out called "Days Out In Central Florida from The Villages" by Gillian Birch, a village resident. It lists 15 places to go and see. I think it is a wonderful book if you are looking for places to go for a day away from TV.

A drive over to New Smyrna Beach for a burger at Breakers!!!

The Breakers Restaurant and Lounge | New Smyrna Beach

If you're lucky enough, you can get a seat overlooking the beach/ocean. Not a fancy place at all - burgers and some old time ambiance....it works for us!
