Home made (mine) steak and mushroom pie, gravy, mashed and french sliced pole beans .. but, have a friend who makes the most wonderful chicken pot pie - takes two days to make it so it is a rarity. I guess it's a toss up - steak or chicken pie!

The foods that comfort me most are my mother's staples from when I was a child: corned beef hash, spaghetti and meatballs, chili with cornbread, and corn chowder.

CFrance, my sister mocks my "kid food," but I even still eat beans and wienies every so often, too!
