Default Who else is totally hooked on Amazon?

We’ve been Amazon members for many years now. Decided to go with Prime late last year. We were tired of waiting until we have the $35 threshold for free shipping. We love Amazon.

If we need virtually anything it’s too simple to check Amazon. Matter of fact I’m holding my iPhone with a new silicon case - was just delivered. We order about 3-4 times a week. Love the return policy. Makes a huge difference in the buying experience. The app is great and so simple to navigate.
I would never go out shopping to “stores” for just about anything anymore. It’s almost all on Amazon. My case was $7.99. Certainly would be more at brick/mortar, with far less selection. I would prefer to do business with local
Merchants but Amazon is too convenient all around.
Save gas, frustration, and hassle.

I agree. Amazon is amazing. I have an Amazon truck at my house almost every day. I shop at Publix for groceries almost every day, but things like paper towels, toilet paper, shampoo, soap, canned food, over-the-counter drugs and supplements, cleaning products, protein drinks, etc. all come from Amazon. I also buy Lowes products like weed killers, filters, tools, fertilizers, and plant food come from Amazon. I really don't know how they do it with the free shipping and one to two day delivery.

I need the exercise and the interactions with real people when going into various stores but do use Amazon quite a bit now.

We use them less and less. Their prices are higher on so many things, Prime delivery at the holidays can take over a week and sometimes items are delivered that looking less than new. Just our opinion, your mileage may vary. BTW, we mentioned to our son and his wife that we found better prices than Amazon at different places and our son told us Amazon is not the cheapest normally. We were paying for the doorstep convenience.

Amazon is great, I've had Prime for years and use it all the time. However, be very careful with any consumables you get from Amazon. I've seen cases of counterfeits of everyday things like toothpaste. The lowest price may not be the best option.

Yep, toothpaste from China containing lead, LOL

I used Amazon much more before I retired. Now I have more time and find that I like to browse stores (Walmart, Home Depot, Lowes etc) and look/touch items before I buy. I use Amazon now for more unique items.

Amazon Prime membership since the beginning. Apps compare prices so I know if it’s cheaper elsewhere. Last week things I would have order from Walmart plus was $7 less from Amazon at my front door at 7am.

I never order anything unless it’s prime 2 day, next day, or same day. Anything other than prime is third party delivery can be days to weeks. Plus returning is a pain. Third party services are usually higher than other store delivery

I try to avoid buying things from China, although that’s hard to avoid entirely. I know for sure that if it’s TEMU, it’s Chinese, and they are gathering my ID info in China. So, I don’t even LOOK at ads from TEMU, much less buy. I don’t want them to implant something in my computer that lets them monitor my browsing.

Exactly, especially if you have health issues. lt's so much easier to pick up your merchandise just outside your door. Of course, spending more $$ becomes so much easier too!

And you think other companies not doing samething? So, big deal they got my name and address. They don’t have any other information. Course if pay everything over the I-phone then they might have everything you imputed in I-phone being majority I-phones made in China.

I use Amazon and Walmart+. Recently I have found some items at Walmart much less expensive than on Amazon. Walmart will give you "free" same-day delivery, but you have to tip the drivers, and I have had issues of them finding the right house (apparently, they have difficulty reading the numbers on the houses)
