Default Golf can best be defined -------

Golf can best be defined -------

Golf can best be defined as an endless series of tragedies obscured by the occasional miracle, followed by a good bottle of beer.

Golf! You hit down to make the ball go up. You swing left and the ball goes right. The lowest score wins, on top of that, the winner buys the drinks.

Golf is harder than baseball. In Golf, you have to play your foul balls.

If you find you do not mind playing Golf in the rain, the snow, even during a hurricane, here's a valuable tip .....your life is in trouble.

Golfers who try to make everything perfect before taking the shot rarely make a perfect shot.

A 'gimme' can best be defined as an agreement between two golfers ...neither of whom can putt very well.

An interesting thing about Golf is that no matter how badly you play, it is always possible to get worse.

Golf's a hard game to figure. One day you'll go out and slice it and shank it, hit into all the traps and miss every green.

The next day you go out and for no reason at all you really stink.

If your best shots are the practice swing and the 'gimme putt', you might wish to reconsider this game.

Golf is the only sport where the most feared opponent is you.

Golf is like marriage, If you take yourself too seriously it won't work, and both are expensive.

The best wood in most amateurs' bags is the pencil

We love golf but golf can never love you back

The problem with Americans is that they think they can beat the game of golf

a mulligan in Scotland is "three"

In my mind's eye I have a Fred Couples' swing. So why are my friend laughing at me?

I found one very effective way of improving my golf game. I lowered my expectations.

I still say the same Scotsman who invented golf and called it fun also invented bagpipes and called it music. (apologies to my bagpipe loving friends). Remember, golf spelled backwards is "Flog". And don't forget the sage wisdom of one of those very British ladies who noted on a European golf broadcast, "The thing about golf is, no matter how poorly you are playing, it can always get worse". 'Nuff said.

All of which serves to explain why I have never even been tempted to chase a little white ball over hundreds of yards in the blazing sun, or even the white-out conditions in winter!

:-)

If you're having that much trouble, you should read my book. It's called, "How to Play Golf in the Low 120s"

Many issues are addressed such as how to play the power shank, the best method of dropping from a hazard and how to line up your fourth putt.

I play in the low 90's ....if it gets much hotter the grips get too sweaty.
