Default Who has the cutest, smartest, sweetest, nicest, most funny grandchildren?

Who has the cutest smartest sweetest nicest funniest grandchildren??

Pictures too, if you can figure out photobucket.

Share why your descendents are so wonderful. Give their first names. (Isn't it interesting how names change from generation to generation?) Not too many Lindas or Joanns or Nancys or Bills or Jerrys these days. Our Colin is 15, tall and handsome, straight A's, and an altar boy..no kiddin'. Our Graylyn, a girl, is a freshman at Ohio University in journalism and is also keeping A's. She is my clone in personality, poor child.

I would add pictures, but photobucket and I don't get along. Last time Barb somehow rescued the pictures and posted them. Barb? Will you help?

Never mind Barb. I finally posted them in TOTV albums; Gracie et al.

The pictures are great GG. You can add some captions to the pictures so we know who is in the pic.

My grandbabies are Derek who will be 3 the end of November, and Ariana who just turned 1 the end of September. Ari just learned how to walk and is so proud of herself. She has the biggest smile! She still only has two teeth on the bottom and no top teeth, so her smile is still very gummy. Derek is just learning how to go potty by himself. If he sees you go into the bathroom he will usually follow you so he can show you how much of a good boy he is. (He also knows he gets a treat if he goes to the potty in the toilet!) They are both so much fun!

Forgot to tell you that there are pics of them in my album on my homepage also!

Five (count em 5) of our grands will be three between 10/29 and 11/28. My daughter had triplets in Oct. and my hubby's daughter-in-law had twins in November three years ago. It's like a couple of zoos. This makes our total 13. Oldest 16, youngest the twins. Let's see if I can remember all the names: Steven, Nikki, Brian, Tim, Kaitlin (adopted from China), Kayla, Brooke, Alison, (Spencer, Luke, Carley - the trips), and Andrew and Eric, the twins. And Christmas is coming, YIKES!

Ok not my own grandchildren but here is a true story from my nursing clinical rotation last Saturday in the maternity dept:

A 3 year old, Kathleen, was visiting with her mom and new baby sister Amy. Amy started to get a little fussy so mom starts to breast feed her. Mom had Kathleen help out by holding Amy’s hand while she breast fed. As little Amy is feeding, Kathleen says “Mommy?” – Yes Kathleen – “Is Amy eating hot dogs or hamburgers?”

You couldn’t make this stuff up!

Reilley's our little star. She's playing Tiny Tim's sister at the Walnut Street Theater in Philadelphia this Dec. Can't wait to see it.

Congratulations to your Reilly. It is so much fun to be a "footlights Grandparent"!!

My daughter is very involved in civic theatre. When Graylyn (her daughter) was 12 she had been in over 30 productions! It is a wonderful foundation for any kind of career that puts you in the public eye. People often asked Graylyn why she didn't pursue the performing arts as a career and her answer was "Only three percent of actors are employed". I am glad she is a practical child too.

We have three granddaughters in San Francisco - Zoe just turned 5, Kara is almost 3 and Mia is 6 months. They do blogs almost every week. This is the blog that we got this week from my daughter-in-law.

On a piece of paper, Zoe wrote: "Dear Mom, I don't like when you be the boss of me"
I wrote back on the same paper: "I am the mom. I am the boss."
Zoe wrote back on the same paper: "Mom I notice that you don't like me.

I told Zoe that her use of the word notice was good.

Half an hour later, I found out they she wrote these comments on the back of that piece paper is her Chinese homework, which needs to be submitted this Saturday. Oh well, I hope her Chinese teacher will enjoy our conversation.

Zoe: " Mom, is it okay I told my friends that you are from China?"
Mom: "Yes, it's OK, but why did you ask?"
Zoe: "Because when I told them you are from Taiwan, they don't know what Taiwan is. So I told them you are from China."

Zoe: "Mom, I told my teacher that you want me to be Sarah Palin for Halloween."
Mom: "What did she say?"
Zoe: "That's nice..."
Now Mrs. MacNamara thinks we are Republicans...

Wiping the tears out of my eyes. NOW JO, It could be worse, half the country are Republicans and there are a few in Columbus too.
