Depends on which media. Some seem to be very heavily favoring Zimmerman while others are very much on the side of Trayvon Martin.

Zimmerman may be guilty or may be innocent. I am not going to speculate one way or another.
The main question is whether or not Zimmerman would be in this predicament if he had obeyed the police operator and not followed Martin? Answer is: NO. Guilty of murder? I don't know? Guilty of stupidity? YES. Will his life or his parent's lives ever be the same again? NO. |

There is a murder case in Florida, in Brevard County, that I'm wondering if anyone else has followed. I wonder why this case hasn't been a campaign for those who took up the Trayvon Martin cause. Not to demean Martin by any stretch. Just trying to understand why one case can become a cause and another, which is just as tragic and sad, isn't mentioned.
"Friends and family huddled alongside crime scene tape in south Melbourne early Thursday wondering who would kill a man known as 'Peanut.' "Police, responding to a report of gunshots being fired about 5 a.m., found Henry Lee Montgomery, 48, dead at his home in the 2800 block of Colbert Circle, according to Sgt. Trevor Shaffer, a spokesman for Melbourne Police Department. “ 'He would help anybody,' Montgomery’s brother, Cliff Cain, said. 'For somebody to mess with him over like that … Most anybody around here, he had helped.' "The fatal incident came after a series of shootings nearby. There have been at least three other shootings, which wounded two people, in the area since April 7. "The Powell Subdivision Neighborhood Watch, which had a regular meeting Thursday night, discussed the topic with local police. "Melbourne and Palm Bay police officers reported good news: They had identified the juveniles responsible for the three earlier shootings. However, the victims did not want to prosecute and there wasn't much more police could do in those cases...." http://www.floridatoday.com/article/...mg%7CFRONTPAGE |

The pressure was on to charge Zimmerman due to the disinformation such as the doctored 911 tape created by the main stream media. The fire was fuled by the usual cast of racial agitators, Jackson, Sharpton and the like. Perhaps the state decided to prosecute to avert riots and the consequences of such. Too, Zimmerman's life was and is in danger. Some very bad people are out for his head.

The police in the Brevard County murder do not have a suspect. The Trayvon Martin shooting was an admitted killing by Zimmerman. The two cases are not at all the same. The Brevard County police say they are looking for a murder suspect. What more can be done? |

The news media that seem to favor Zimmerman (ABC) are reporting the facts in the case. Those anti Zimmerman (NBC/MSNBC) are hyping up the story with hate speech and race baiting.

This is a question more of money than facts. Money given to the witness of the fight by ABC. It is mostly the far right media that is defending Zimmerman not so much NBC/MSNBC, CBS, etc. |

After everything I have seen and heard I sincerely believe that Zimmerman was arrested contrary to Florida law. The purpose of the stand your ground law is to provide production to the defender in the event that there is no evidence of wrongdoing on his part. The police at the scene with the exception of one believed that Zimmerman had acted in self-defense and that the evidence showed that to be true. In addition at the time there was no evidence contrary to Zimmerman self-defense claim. The only time that it was considered any evidence of wrongdoing was after racial pressure from the race baiters Of the United States. This section is in direct contradiction to the Florida law, in my opinion.
Let's hope that we do not have a reverse of Casey Anthony case.

George Zimmerman looked like he is about five feet tall standing next to his attorney. Perhaps that's why he felt a need to carry a Glock 9mm, to make up for his other inadequacies.

By the way, Zimmerman's mother noted that her son worked with two black children as part of a mentoring program in a dangerous area. When she asked him why he did it he told her "If I don't do it they don't have nobody." |
