... So, again I ask, where was your indignation and protests against the war in Iraq???? Puh-lease! Don't forget to pick up your teabags after you!
You anti-Obama Republican's should have opted for a "Whine and Cheese" party with sugar-coated sour grapes! You might have fooled more people. Have fun.

CHels: You're a piece of work. Make sure you don't suffocate with your head in the sand so long.

YES, going to a tea party today. Obama's tax speech put me off completely. This guy is a menace.

I guess his teleprompter told him to do it !!!! LOL

This isn't just Republicans. I know many Democrats who are participating, also. For me, it's not just the income taxes. We are taxed to death on everything. We spent the other night in a hotel and there was over $30.00 worth of taxes and fees. Look at your utility, phone and other bills. Check out how much is added for taxes. Compare what oil companies make on a gallon of gas and then look at what the state and federal government make on it. Why will anyone have any incentive to work hard if its all going to Uncle Sam?

Hahaha! I'M a piece of work! You still haven't answered my question. Why wasn't all of this energy put into protesting the war in Iraq? My guess is that your portfolios are more important than the thousands of lives lost. Very sad indeed.

I was against the war! Were you?

Don't try to change the subject!!This has nothing to do with the war. The nation is going bankrupt and I care!! Do you?

No more tax increases and no more BAILOUTS!!

Went to the SECO annual meeting. Speaker said there is a carbon tax in the works--if passed would probably add at least $50.00 per month to the electric bill.

Carbon tax is a tax on the carbon content of fuels--effectively, a tax on the carbon dioxide emissions from burning fossil fuels.

They won't answer the question, because they can't answer the question without looking bad. They know the war was one of the big reasons taxes are necessary to keep the country afloat, and so many of them were pro-war.

Chels: I was FOR the premise of the Iraq war for our information.

Agree -- don't change the subject. Are you from Chicago? You sound a lot like someone I didn't vote for.

These tax hikes are NOT related to the Iraq war. They are being forced upon the citizens of this country to promote Socialism, more big government, everything our Founders left England to escape.

What tax hikes?
Unless you are earning over250K per year, and those hikes would have happened anyway if the Bush tax cuts were allowed to expire on schedule.
