in other words the loyalists believe the same folks who voted for Obama last time will again this time and the few who do not vote for him will not be enough to make a difference.

The order of the day is to keep telling others why there is absolutely nothing Obama can do wrong....nothing he can do to discourage those who voted for him...and that it is OK with all who voted for him there is nothing he can do to make the promises he asked them to buy into the first time....and they will buy into again....

yup, just keep telling yourself that it doesn't matter.

What loyalists to Obama have not been able to do is explain what it is he means when he says he needs 4 more years to finish the job he started. To me that implies he started...OK so he was inaugurated and he moved into the WH. Just what is it he has started and needs 4 more years to complete?
Make the hole this country is in deeper than ever. If the country is no better off after spending trillions of dollars.....does anybody think he needs 4 more years to spend trillions more with the same end result.

Please enlighten us what it is he needs to complete.

You slipped a digit? According to my calculator, 52.9 minus 45.7 equals 7.2%.
You slipped five digits.

President Obama needs four more years to:

Implement the Affordable Care Act

End the Bush tax cuts for the wealthy

Fight for the middle class

Keep medicare, medicaid and social security solvent

Bring all the troops home from Afghanistan

Keep us out of war with Iran

Bring unemployment down to an acceptable level

Protect a woman's right to choose, and much, much more

Thus, President Obama wins again and this time by around a 5 or 6% margin.
I don't know why any woman would vote for a republican with all their personhood initiatives, which couldn't even pass in conservative Mississippi.
I doubt any gay or lesbians would vote repub after Ron Paul's supporter said they should be executed. No African-American votes after Gingrich said poor black kids should be janitors and he would abolish all child labor laws. And
Romney said he would do away with the Dream Act . Obama leads with 70% of the hispanic vote.

I wouldn't think that anyone on or near medicare would vote republican, since they plan on ending medicare as we know it and replacing it with a voucher system.

So who does that leave us with voting for republicans? Angry old white men.
Obama won't even have to campaign this year. He can just keep playing their words back over and over and stand by and watch the republican party implode.

Thanks for the nice comments on my beagle. She really is man's best friend.... Snuggling next to me at this moment.. and constantly at my side at home and on long walks.
I respect your opinion about palin but I respectfully disagree. I think we will find out this year because the Repubs are going to go moderate again, and I predict they will lose, again. We shall see.

That beagle in your avatar is sure a good looking dog. Beagles really are great dogs.
