Thank you for replying to my original post. I was hoping to encourage some intellectual dialog on the factors that will determine the next President. This anonymous format is like writing on public bathroom wall. I would wager some of our more rabid posters carry magic markers when they are out and about.

Hey, why don't you move to Somalia if you want a conservative country - and it even has open carry of weapons? I understand that the AK-47 style is the weapon of choice.

What's wrong with the controls already on gun sales? You must have a background check on you before you can purchase a gun from any dealer. Every gun show that I have been to, required (by fed law) a background check prior to taking possession of the gun. By the way, how many of the previous mass murders would have been avoided by a background check? Answer: NONE.

I don't have an accurate count of conservative versus liberal erratic drivers in the Villages, but I do know that the ones that I have seen had liberal state tags on their carts. Mostly snowbirds but not confined to that group. Not that this is consistent to the thread.

There are a number of influential people including at least two GOP candidates that are urging Mitt Romney to enter this race. My view is that those doing the urging want to alter the dynamics.

Mean while Chris Matthews is still asking that same question "what is the difference between a Democrat and socialist.

The only one owning up to it is Bernie Sanders.

Debbie Schultz DNC when asked went into a trance.

Matthews asked Hillary yesterday and the gifted fabricator and artful dodger said she was a progressive Democrat.

Obama could well be nominated for the 2016 Academy Awards for his commanding performance when announcing his gun control plans.
The government doesn't enforce the laws it has on the books now.
