They don't want any requirements. ID is too hard to get for those poor people.

Somehow they find the ID to qualify for benifits.
You commented that their should be a national id card. There is one its called a passport. You can get a drivers license without being a citizen....look at the case in Texas.
In Europe all high school kids get their papers just like our passport. If we started doing that then there would be no voter fraud.

The Republicans are NOT about stopping the non existing voter fraud what they are doing is called voter suppression!!!

You are brilliant, all people need ID. No voting without one! Do you agree?

Both in Colorado and Florida I have had to produce an ID. To me it was NOT a big issue however, some states have done some crazy things with the Voter ID. Like Alabama who required a Drivers License to vote and then close most of the offices in which you could apply for one!

In earlier time women often replaced there middle name with their maiden name when they got married. This becomes a problem for women when they register to vote and the birth name doesn't match the driver's license name.

Passing a Voter ID law should be done in a NON VOTING year as to allow people to obtain the ID.

As low as the intent is to tamp down on voter fraud and NOT an attempt at voter suppression I'm all for it!

Which year would be an example of a non voting year?[emoji24] [emoji24] [emoji24] [emoji23] [emoji23] [emoji23]

I guess that makes sense so it gives people two years to get their ID.[emoji24] [emoji24] [emoji24] [emoji23] [emoji23] [emoji23] We would not want to infringe on their rights!

BTW, do you smoke a lot of that legal weed during your summers in Colorado?

I have never smoked POT in my life! And as a recovering cigarette smoker now I for sure never will...and no I don't eat POT brownies either I have to keep my girlish figure!

Why it is that voter fraud and voter id laws popped up right around the same time that the Supreme Court gutted the Civil Rights Act. And before you get mad google when the Texas law went into affect!
