As for your last statement, be thankful that you have that million dollars to pay for your own operations, should there come a time you need one. Just because people require an operation to live, does not mean they become totally useless as you infer. Yes, even older people like us.

Health care in this country saved my life under Obama
and now I risk losing the plan because the costs which already have increased by 60% in 2017 are threatened to further increase by a minimum of 50% more. Why cant the USA looked to our neighbors north and copy that plan that is working just fine.

We also have the highest minority population. A population half of which contributes nothing on a net basis. More than half TAKE from the government. It costs the equivalent of $1,000 a month for the healthcare they expect. Who is going to pay $10,000 a year for 50 million poor people? Because Canada is full of productive white people who are not on welfare leeching off everyone else like our 51% minority population. In Canada almost everyone contributes to the government and in the US, more than half TAKE from the government. Mostly the minority half. America is full of "dead wood", not worth a damn, having to be dragged along. We have at least 50 million expecting "full coverage" while sitting home...f@cking and drinking all day. They're black people who feel they're getting their "reparations" for being slaves about 150 years ago.

It works in Canada like the villages works here...because it's mostly white people. As your minority population grows...you too will notice your quality of life going down too. The villages is white...THAT is WHY it is so great. Canada is white...that's why "socialism" works there...productive white people. Socialism doesn't work here because we're too brown and half don't produce, half don't chip in, half just want to take. Not all work together.

Why are people complaining that he is trying to keep his promises? That is a first for any President. These are the same people who would complain if he wasn't. Keep in mind, to date no one, no one, has lost their Obamacare. They won't until it is replaced. This is a process! Processes take time. That's why it is called a process. They will work on it until they do get it right.

People complain that this is no different than Obamacare, just tweaked. He promised that he would see to it that those with pre-existing conditions would be able to be insured. He promised to write in the good things about the Obamacare plan and discard the bad ones. People are being apprised along the way of what it is to be, much unlike "pass it to see what's in it". This is not going to be the "Wham bam, thank you mam", that Obamacare was when passed.

He gets slammed for his remarks about the press being biased. Today was just an example. One person who is working on the new plan was being interviewed and was explaining what they are working on. The media guy (Fox, by the way) said something about the work continuing behind closed doors. He was immediately corrected to "open doors" by the guy.

As for those who say it was going to be replaced from Day One; Day One was the first step, not the final plan.

One of the best things, thus far, is not penalizing employers for not carrying insurance or individuals who do not take insurance they cannot afford.

You make a great argument for one national health care program. This means everyone, congress ect, No other insurance, everyone will be treated equally.

Why did these experts not see Obammacare was a burden to the middle class?

When people who were previously insured in the individual market obtain insurance in the exchanges, on the average they are worse off. ... Even the Obamacare mandate's threatened penalties are not enough to make Obamacare insurance attractive to the vast majority of the uninsured middle class.
