In the US 50 million abortions, so far. How many were to save the life of the mother? How many were for a variety of other reasons? |

Pope Benedict wrote a letter that no Catholic can vote for someone who supports Abortion, that is aiding and abetting.
Pope Francis recently said the same. Cardinal Chaput of Philadelphia echoed these statements. Don't call Kaine, Kerry. Biden, and Pelosi Catholics, they are CINOs. Catholics In Name Only, they have excommunicated themselves. These statements can be found on Facebook, along with Sermons from Priests stating the same. |

Since almost ALL abortions are due to convenience, it is obvious that many abortions are just a form of birth control. Catholics are generally against birth control, but are more concerned about innocent baby lives. Statistics do not support the abortion argument/movement of pro-choice and certainly does not warrant gov subsidy. On the other hand, putting abortion aside it is interesting how the released emails show how Hillary's campaign really thinks of Catholics. I guess you could say that they put them in the Deplorables basket. |

They were neglected and abused they "had to pay for the sins of their mothers" How about pedophile priests that they kept moving around to continuously abuse children. |

I guess you will also agree that voter fraud is running rampant in election years? I mean, if it happens once or twice, then it must be rampant, right? The sewer tale has been debunked. It was mass graves and the children were buried over a long period of time. They were not aborted babies, but babies that died of diseases or malnutrition. This was a home for poor pregnant women. The story is so old, I find it incredulous that you would bring it up. Saying these children were thrown in the sewer shows that you did not research your information and just parrot liberal talking points. I can see why you wish for a socialist gov to lead you by the nose. It must be hard for you to make your own decisions in life. |

I am telling you that 800 babies were dumped in the sewer by the nuns and the Catholic Church. They are now digging other mother baby homes throughout Ireland.

She had to stay in this prison for three more years, doing hard labor in the laundry, to pay for her sins. Never was allowed to leave. I remember well, there was a very high wall, with broken glass imbedded in cement on the top so no one could climb it. The Catholic church was in the adoption, baby selling, business and if babies aren't perfect they aren't adoptable. There were no background checks. No accountability what so ever. The government is also to blame for giving the church so much power, nobody would speak out against them. My uncle lived 2 doors down from this home, prison, and walked by nearly every day. I clearly remember him telling my mom that the children in the yard were eating scraps of food, thrown out for the hens, off the ground. Yes, these "homes" were houses of horror. There are many, many horrors stories. Some mentally challenged women spent their lives there, slaving in the laundered until the government finally closed them. Yes, infants were thrown in the sewer pit. Didn't deserve a decent burial, after all they had original sin. |

As a Catholic can you vote to Hillary? This was the actual question from the original post. So how did this get turned into what has now been posted?

So, you can attack Catholics all you wish but if you think that attacks on Catholics is going to further your weird liberal agenda some how, you are confused. The question the OP had was "how can a Catholic vote for Hillary." And it was based on the emails from Hillary's campaign, bad mouthing them AND the idea that Hillary is for late term abortions or any abortions for that matter. I am not a Catholic but I believe that their belief is that they are against abortion and any form of birth control. The second has been relaxed somewhat, I think. You liberals have a tendency to push absolutes, but only when it suits you. If someone is pro-life, you believe that they hate women and are against their civil rights. If we are for the death penalty, you are suddenly pro-life. If a person makes more money than you, you believe it is not fair and they should share it. But, if you are wealthy, you do not wish to share it. The question is how can a Catholic vote for Hillary. The answer is that they have to disregard their personal religious beliefs and vote for her for superficial reasons, such as Hillary is a female and a Dem and would be the first female president. Even though she would be a flawed, and corrupt president, with a history of criminal lawlessness, liberals will vote for her regardless. |
