Default Cheney's New Battery

STOP THE PRESSES! ! ! !

Dick Cheney got a new battery.

I suppose this proves that our Veep does, in spite of popular opinion, have a heart, though one could never tell by his actions or demeanor. He gives arrogance an entirely new meaning.

When the President does leave at the end of his terms I feel that he or his staff will not destroy the interior of the White House like the Clinton's. It will be a very sad day for our country if the Hillta beast is elected.

Classic from Buc!!

Iraq: 3,600 + US dead.
25,000+ wounded
2 Million Iraqi's have fled, who knows how many dead
$550 Billion Cost project by Oct 1 (Bush projected cost prior to war $55 billion)

But some worry about the White being trashed, which incidentally never happened and was verified at the time by then press secretary Ari Fleischer.

Then there is Katrina, stem cells, Harriet Meiers, "Scooter", Schiavo, Bernie Keric, habeas corpus, and too much to mention.

White house trashed, hilarious!!

Bed wetters really make me laugh at they're willingness to believe the Liberal Press. This is, and will remain to be a great country, go wave your peace signs and keep trying to tear apart my country. I served to give you the right but if you and your kind would support this country we would be allot better off. Please stop drinking the liberal Kool-aid and think for yourselves. I may not agree with everything the Republican Party does but it is allot better than the other choices. WAKE UP !!!

Excuse me? Are we to presume that Bill and Hilliary aren't arrogant? The pursuit of power for its own sake is almost a hallmark of arrogance.

The Carter presidency was the hallmark of the 20th century. I should say the biggest joke of the 20th century. Mondale and carter did a hell of a job when Iran grabbed our people over there. We were the laughing stock of the world when his rilliant atempt to free them ended in failure. Also 20% prime rate, 14% mortgages. What an administration. Talk about Iraq. If the liberal, press and the power hungry dems had joined in behind our government at war, it very well could have been overwith by now. Those dummies have emboldened the enemy to an immeasurable extent. The mainstrean media has provided the enemy with the knowledge that we're unable to execute a war. Wake up! The left wing idiots are now fighting the CIA types about monitoring terrorists calls into the country. Are they nuts? Are we going to wait until one of our cities is destroyed before we wake up? Look at what's already happened in the UK. How do you think they prevented the attacks, by protecting the imaginary rights of people who want to wipe out the western world? This partisan garbage is going to result in a very bad and tragic future in the US.

Gee, wasn't the Nixon "presidency" in the 20th century??

Classic responses right out of the Limbaugh/Hannity playbook.

When faced with unfavorable facts follow these steps:

1. Start with name calling. This will make you look really smart.

2. Play the patriot card. This makes those against any Bush policies appear to be against the US and further blurs the facts.

3. Blame the press.

4. Mention Jimmy Carter. It was only 30 years ago but who cares about what's happening now. Not sure how many died or were permanently maimed by high inflation but you never know. For older folks you may drop Warren Harding's name.

Kudos to BUC and jjdees for their keen insight into todays world.!!

In response to bimmertl-

Gee, wasn't the Nixon "presidency" in the 20th century??
What does a response to Mondale's speech have to do with Nixon?

Classic responses right out of the Limbaugh/Hannity playbook.
Can't handle the facts?

When faced with unfavorable facts follow these steps:

1. Start with name calling. This will make you look really smart.
What names were called? You are the one that's making it personal. Makes you look real smart.

2. Play the patriot card. This makes those against any Bush policies appear to be against the US and further blurs the facts.
Again, what in God's name are you talking about? Make some sense please. You think the terrorists will go away when a dem is elected????

3. Blame the press.
The main stream media is biased towards the left.

4. Mention Jimmy Carter. It was only 30 years ago but who cares about what's happening now. Not sure how many died or were permanently maimed by high inflation but you never know. For older folks you may drop Warren Harding's name.
Another brilliant response. Carter was the worst president in our lifetimes. If you think the terrorist attacks on the US started with Iraq, you don't pay much attention to the news. Your hero ignored bin-laden while he was busy with Monica.

Kudos to BUC and jjdees for their keen insight into todays world.!!
Thank you for you brilliant words of wisdom.
