To be honest, I don't belittle the commentator (assuming you mean the CPUSA). They belittle themselves. You might have had more of a case to 'be afraid' of them back in the 1970s or even 1980s. Back then, there was still a USSR backing them. Right now they are the moral equivalent of a guy on a soapbox yelling at passers-by at the Town Square. Their message is old, outdated, repudiated even by those who tried to force it on other countries. When your list of True Believer clients is basically down to North Korea and Cub (make no mistake, Vietnam and China are way different) it says something.

Actually, I don't mean the CPUSA. If I were referring to you I would mean that you belittled the CPUSA in a way that demeaned them as an organization that would even concern a concerned citizen like BK. Your commentary made it seem like BK is making a mountain out of a molehill. Was that your intent?
As far as the efficacy of their organization; I don't know how far their personal influence as a party goes, but the proof is in the pudding. The man they think is going to advance the communist cause is sitting in the Oval Office.
So, if you add things up; the Conservatives and the Communists think the man who is pushing American down the path to Socialism/Communism is in the White House in the Oval Office at this moment.

Velly Interesting ......... no?

cologal, when I post here in the forum I do it hoping that someone can learn something from the information or teach me something after reading the information, or perhaps both. It isn't you that aggrevates me it is the frustration that comes from not having a back-and-forth conversation about the material posted.

Richie very eloquently summed up what I was trying to say. "The man they think is going to advance the communist cause is sitting in the Oval Office.

RichieLion: And David Duke supported George Bush. Does that mean the KKK would have been in charge of the country?

Now more to your point, BK said he didn't know if the website was from a nutjob or what - but then said it is important that we know what the CPUSA was saying about Obama and the Unions.

Let me make it clear, then.

1) I don't think Obama has tangible ties to Communists.

2) Unions worry me more. They have far more socialistic policies (everyone makes the same money, etc)

3) The CPUSA is the shadow of a dead menace.

4) All that being said, the Communists have every right to state their views. I have the right to then ridicule them.

5) Holding nutjobs like the CPUSA up to the light exposes them for what they are.

6) The far greater threat to the United States is an uneducated populace. The threat is that they'll be led like the Pied Piper would do.

Obama's ties to Alinsky is enough proof for me of his nature.

Thinking Communism is a dead menace is, I'm sorry, awfully naive.

I didn't say Obama had any links to the CPUSA itself; only that they believe, because they also have connected the dots and supported him, that Obama is the man who will lead them to the "promised land" of Communism.

Also, feel free to ridicule the Communist movement; but dismiss them at yours and this countries peril.

(The David Duke reference is ridiculous)

The one thing I do not understand about those who find fun with the posts on this man and the exciting support from the Communist Party of America, is the mystery to me of the support this man continues to get.

During the primary, these posters and a few others were staunch supporters of Secy Clinton for the nomination. I do not recall any direct quotes from specific folks, but I know that one of the quotes from Clinton supporters was calling Obama an "empty suit" and there were many others. For the most part when confronted with, and I will be personal here, my research on his background which included all of his training, all of his associates, etc they either were silent or hinted that I was some sort of racist.

This was during the primary...now, once he got the nomination, most of them...began to critique McCain and that was understandable as I was not even that enamored with McCain. BUT, they begain to sing the praises of this man, and I kept on hammering them with facts, and they called me even worse names and laughed at me for the things I said were going to happen. I called this President and this congress...the perfect storm...I told them how schooled he and his supporters were with the Alinsky method. YES, many politicians have used a number of Alinsky points, but NOBODY in history was so schooled and even TAUGHT these principles and was surrounded with disciples of his teachings.

I thought when the Rev Wright and a few other things came out, they would back off...but NO...these Clinton supporters just kept raving about him,

The point is, I was called a person of very little smarts...a person who believed in conspiracies...a "Bushie" which if you knew me is actually funny...and at that time I predicted much of what is happening. His involvement with private companies....his push for the health bill that would not include a control of costs...his unwavering support for labor unions and his promise to help them grow and grow stronger. They just totally ignore as if it never happened, a "stimulus" bill that was mostly pork and has not worked. TARP has helped but that huge stimulus bill was nothing but social programs..or for the most part at least.

All of this is coming true and we have a way to go.....YET they still defend him...they will make light of a post as you folks make concerning the Communist Party delight in having him in the WH. What they believe in, he believes in folks. That simple.

Strong labor unions and growing labor unions
Strong central government and much more control over private enterprise
Strong central government control of health issue and enviromental issues.
A beginning of re distribution of wealth.

The election of 2008 was pure and simple....a con job. The press has put themselves in such a bad situation, they can find very little way out.

This has the potential to end very badly folks !
