Carson is a good man. He is more qualified than Obama for the job. He does not seem divisive. He is a moderate conservative, not right wing. He is very diplomatic in many cases and would probably be a great statesman, if given some time. He would need an experienced VP, such as Rubio. He would also need an above average staff with a lot of savvy. Could he make it? Yes, better than Obama. But, Obama already had a chip on his shoulder when he started. And, he hired a bunch of losers to support him.

Oh, you said "stupid things", not LIES...sorry my bad !!! But are not lies stupid things ?

Nah, not for folks like Clinton. Her supporters will go to the wall for her no matter how many lies she tells.

Benny won't be elected- he won't even win the nomination. But, not because of his color but because the man is a blithering idiot.

He has no position on any issues and half the time he makes absolutely no sense. Much like Trump.

Both Benny and Trump have much appeal to the low information Con voter.

"a blithering idiot"? Have you ever heard the man speak? You may not agree with him but he's extremely intelligent, well spoken, and very thoughtful. I suggest you take a look in the mirror before pointing fingers about other low information voters.

I agree with you on this statement. When I read the OP I was astonished that people still think like this. I'm aware he is a black man but i literally didn't give that one iota of consideration as to whether he would earn my vote or not. Do I agree with all his positions, no. I do have him in my top 3 however. I still have Rubio as my personal top choice.

Guess we'll see how it all turns out. The only certainty in this whole thing is it will be interesting with unforeseen twists and turns along the way.

Let's see - some stupid things he's said:

There might not be an election in 2016 because of widespread anarchy.
Homosexuality is a choice.
America is like Nazi Germany.
When asked about the debt limit he clearly had no idea what that meant.

The guy is weird and clearly uninformed.

Sooo, if he doesn't lie to you and promise you an Obama Utopia, you think he is an idiot? You liberals are so needy. Please feel free to give us an example of his "he makes absolutely no sense." And yet, why should I be surprised? After all, you are quite content with Hilary telling you that a video caused a massacre. You are quite content with her telling the country that she is going to be a president of ALL the people, and then turn around and tell us that Republicans are her enemy. And you are quite content with allowing hackers access to Top Secret material. Why should we be surprised that you would call an intelligent and skilled surgeon, a "blithering idiot." You really should go back to school. I think we all know who really IS the "blithering idiot."

Well I can't help but notice Ben Carson is a black man and that he grew up in a black community and that his experiences shaped his thinking and beliefs. Fortunately for Ben Carson he had good role models. Contrast Obama who gravitated to radicals and an occupation whose main method of leverage is to divide.

Carson has shown like Thomas Sowell, Jason Riley and other successful black leaders that they do not possess a victim mentality like Obama. Carson clearly demonstrates that he would be a uniter that he is intelligent ,that he is a thinker, that he has common sense, that he would surround himself with highly capable people. and the coup d'etat he is not an attorney. We have had far too long too many attorneys in The Executive and Legislative Branches who have papered us to the point of suffocation with regulations, rules etc all way too complex and so voluminous that even the most gifted get lost in the reading to wit Obamacare and Dodd-Frank,etc

I have not pick a favorite yet but have whittled down my list and Carson is still on it.

Personal Best Regards:

I really don't mind that you don't like the guy, but for you to put out there things you consider fact when it is simply is fabrication I do take issue. Like I said already, do I agree with every thing he says and every one of his positions? No I do not. But it's refreshing to here someone tell you what they are thinking and not what they think will get them elected.

Great post.

Undecided here also but leaning toward Rubio. I keep waiting until "next week" and keep looking at him and Bush, but think Bush would be under attack based on his name, as will Clinton, but I like Rubio at this point.
