Default Hillary to run

I've had a suspiscion that Hillary will run in some fashion. Kept waiting for her to toss her hat in the ring for Pres, but VP makes more sense.

Hillary for VP in 2012 and then Hillary for President in 2016.

Given she would be accepting the nomination for 2012 as a party electability strengthening move, why would she take on the risk of a potential loss in 2012?

Why would she take on the risk of Obama's next 4 years?

She can stand pat until 2016 and be insulated from the effects of both the above.

There is no possibility of a Democrat loss in 2012.

Newt's stupid statements regarding Bain Capitol and Mitt Romney have sunk the Republicans for this year. The Democrats will make all the political hay out of these Newt-isms.

They will also show the hypocricy of Romney saying he is a just a "working guy like anyone else" and then showing his mansions and vacation homes in New Hampshire, Park City, and Massachusetts.

Oh good, I'm glad that's settled. Now you don't have to bother with all this political stuff since you've got it all firmly figured out. You can just sit with your Yuengling and your golf clubs and nod off until Nov. 2012.

Beautiful dreamer, wake unto me,
Starlight and dewdrops are waiting for thee;
Sounds of the rude world, heard in the day,
Lull'd by the moonlight have all pass'd away!

Cool

I agree with Buggyone. Thanks for the song Richie, you'll have plenty of time to sing over the next couple of years.

Default to be or not to be....

no one knows whether buggy or richie may win this argument but i can assure you that millions of people will be working hard between now and november to see obama defeated...if the republican heirarchy will not support conservative candidates, and we lose, i am sure a third party will be formed immediately after the election. will definitely be an exciting race... liked the song, richie....

I still maintain that the only way the Republicans have would have a chance in 2012 would be in Jeb Bush should decide to run either as a Republican or a Third Party Candidate. But it would still be a slim chance to beat Obama.

but can't you just hear the media knit pickers and the obsessive Bushwackers all roaring continuously about another Bush.
Why would any sentient person subject themselves to such a predictable, purposeful destructive process?
The answer is pretty obvious.

And there will be millions working hard to see that Obama is re-elected.
