I'm from Wisconsin (soon to be Sanibel) and I couldn't be prouder of Paul Ryan as a person and as a politician. It's time to take this country back and get the economy going again.
Well said. Ryan will eat Biden alive!! He is economically brillant and will get this nation back on track !!! I think we are looking really good with this team and Obama is running scared.

I cannot say I blame you or anyone for leaving this place. It is becoming a hate filled forum with nothing but venom.

It is impossible to even try to bring up an issue for discussion. You will be met with the short hate filled, even evil posts.

Some thing it is funny, others I think are trying to destroy this place, and they seem to be winning.

They are or have already poisoned this place. Everyone can stand someone disagreeing with a political position but what has happened here transcends that; there are folks living in The Villages who just spew hate and venom on here or make fun of anyone who wants to have a legitimate conversation on political.

Do not blame anyone for leaving here or not coming.

Last night on The Tonight Show, Jay Leno said, "At least the Republicans have learned something. In 2012, they have a Cheesehead as their Vice-Presidential candidate instead of the Air Head they had in 2008."

Don't forget that Bill Maher donated ONE MILLION DOLLARS to President Obama's re-election.

I personally think that Bill Maher is a great political comedian and I am a regular viewer of his HBO show.

Sarah Palin says Joe Biden is dragging down the ticket, a subject that she is certainly an expert on.

Bill Maher, that hate filled venomous little a-hole, a great political comedian?

Now that's funny. You do crack me up at times.

I'm not surprised you appreciate his obnoxious attempts at humor.

He soothes the socialist's soul.

Cannot say I like Bill Maher very much. Jon Stewart is much better. Joe Biden has been saying some really funny stuff too.

Bill Maher will be doing two live shows at Ruth Eckard Hall in Tampa the week of the Republican Convention, and Jon Stewart will be doing his show live from Tampa all that week. They both will have plenty of material to work with.
