Dont listen to what he says...
Watch what he does !!
Been saying that since Iowa...finally some are recognizing it... "Here’s the thing, though: in every one of these instances Obama is not only doing something different than what he said, he’s doing very nearly the opposite of what he says." http://www.commentarymagazine.com/bl...p/wehner/70312 "No one doubts Obama speaks exceedingly well; he uses soothing words that come across as reassuring and reasonable. The problem comes when you examine what he says versus what he does. And by that standard, Mr. Obama is turning out to be almost promiscuously misleading" |

I know I'm the only one in the world who feels this way, but I never thought he was a good speaker. He always sounds like a high school kid running for class president, to me. That's with the teleprompter, without it he can't put a sentence together. Just my opinion.

This entire Democratic operation has been smoke and mirrors and printing more money than our treasury can ever back up. It will lead to devastation of the values and freedoms we currently enjoy.

If we assume that much of the change he is bringing
into play is creating major deficit obligations out into the future, printing money will soon devalue much of what we have/will have, more government is not as good as the private sector and on and on......there are a lot of intelligent people in this country. Do we assume they all blindly support what this POTUS peddles....no questions asked?
Do we assume even the intelligent folks in his party will create laws, bills, take overs, bail outs and more even at the detriment to the country? I am definitely not defending what is going on. Quite the contrary. It must be that more than a few of us are concerned about the swooping policies, but not much is heard of or from. I know we cannot rely on we the people until it is either too late or some of these policies directly affect them (means the same it is too late). For example do we the people who are getting the post age 65 benefits from Medicare, Rx drug plans, Medicaid....do you really think when the new health care reform gets put in place (if it gets in place) that your benefits will stay the same? Do you think the government can add 20,000,000 to the benefits list without it affecting what you and I get today? The health care reform is not a bail out of we the people. The majority will be affected in a negative way at some point. Those being added won't care because what ever they get is more than they have today. Are we the people going to just let this happen? Switch subjects to an above post. Barrack Hussein Obama without notes and without his teleprompter is no better than the average speaker. He is a lawyer, you know the same profession that has to be good with words to get the murderers acquitted!!!! The same profession that is trained to weasle word the unacceptable to where they can get it by most dumbies!! Just rambling this morning. At some point (I keep hoping) the masses will be inspired to action. Thus far the only thing that seems to do that is high enough gas prices. Apparently the pain at the pump is less tolerable than our way of life and health!! btk |

I wouldn't honor the current administration by using the term saved jobs..
it is a pure BS, political, empty, no value added, totally UNSUPPORTABLE statement.
It is an indicator of the lengths BHO and his team will go to make it SOUND like something is being accomplished. Remember in addition to being a politician he is a lawyer. Trained to use WORDS to convince others. There is no requirement for truth....only that it is not illegal. This is true of most politicians but BHO believes what he says. Let's see where he is after his first real State of the Nation (not these BS, scripted, feel good, campaign READINGS) btk |

Where's the outcry
BTK:
I'm with you all the way. I don't understand why the media does not question why is is manufacturing all these numbers. Are we not losing about 500,000 jobs every month since he took office? |

I am hoping that someday, somehow, the media is held accountable for what they have done the last 18 months or so and I think they will eventually pay the price for thier adication of duty. On a side note, this morning on Morning Joe on MSNBC, I actually heard Norah ODonnell say that, and I am paraphrasing, one of the reasons the current administration is pushing so hard for so much so quickly is that keeping it close to the last administration they feel they can blame Bush for what is going on, and if they let it go on in time they lose what they think is an advantage ! No politics here right |

The unraveling
Here's a prediction: The healthcare initiative is clearly starting to fall apart and I predict this will be the POTUS's first major agenda item that fails to get rammed through Congres under the guise of "we must act immediately or we will all self destruct and .... (well you know the dance). Once that happens this ruse of panic stricken decision making will cease and the accountability referred to above will surface. This will be the beginning of the unraveling of this chaotic, scattershot, do it all in 6 months style of this administration. Reality will slowly set in and hopefully our system of checks, balances, debate etc will guide us on a more thought out methodical course over the next 3 years.

Getting as much done as quick and as close to Bush
is on some level a tactic.
In my opinion the more pressing issue is the knowledge that the honey moon does wear thin and they want to git er done while his ratings are high. NBC did a short clip last night showing the slippage that is already under way. Also keep in mind at some point reasonable people...even the silent majority will expect to see improvement from the billions and trillions being spent. The othe mantra he does not have to deal with is the war. Am I the only one who is amazed at the lack of war reporting....either location? It is one of the many glaze jobs the media does do for him that was non existent in the past. I also read somewhere yesterday (sorry I don't remember where) but I want to at least refer to it....this president is getting unprecedented media coverage the likes of which hasn't been seen in over 50 years!! And I do hope the prediction on health care reform comes true. We the people just cannot let happen what is being proposed....As a senior citizen we will lose some of what we have today for coverage. There is this unspoken subject that is very concerning and that is we the people think they get to keep what ever government benefits they have while picking up the additional 20,000,000 that have no coverage. That is not going to happen. REMEMBER REDISTRIBUTION!!!??? Write your representatives and let them know you want this health care hijacking to be stopped. b tk |
