Unless you are from that level of corporate America, most folks have no idea what REALLY went on leading to one's dismissal.

Let me give you a for instance from real life at that level. Mr. B was hired in as a fix the business no matter what it takes. Let us (board of directors) worry about how to handle communications about what may happen along the way. So Mr. B rips out the old crony staffs down to and including any VP titled person. Fire them; give the deserving a pat on the back and a golden parachute. Write of what ever needs to be written off the balance sheet. Don't worry about the impact on the financial results we (board of directors) will handle it. At some point we will agree that the dead wood is gone, the balance sheet cleaned up, the financial results will be in a shamble and we will have to part company. In so doing we will have a guranteed parachute well nto the 8 figures. It will have to appear that we did our job (board of directors) in getting rid of you. In return we (board of directors) wind up with a leaner, cleaner financial basis company.

Sound like a fairy tale. Not at all....a real fortune 500 company story.

Now back to Fiorina that you think you know about what she did and did not do.....to get a $21,000,000 severance package.

You can/should only believe maybe 25% of what corporate America announces to it's public. The other 75% never gets out of the board room.
