Default Growing very weary of the 100 day milestone

ballyhoo by Obama and mainstream media pupeteers.
The man has barely put an oar in the water and he is claiming the remaking of America. Is it just me or are there more people who believe his articulation VS results? I guess if it sounds good and they feel good it doesn't matter that not much has changed except the mounting debt that for some mysterious reason we the people never get to hear about from him or his pupeteers.

Where are the measurable results? How many people do you know that have been helped by the new banking bail outs? How many small business owners do you know that have been aided by the programs promised by the administration?
Why is it loans are still difficult to get by the very people he continues to boast he is helping?

Myself I am sick and tired of the rhetoric....repub or dem. I operated my whole life on results VS promises. The new administration is stacking promises upon promises and debt upon debt for future generations.

Is the country so shallow in expectation that a good story is all the need to feel good?

Wow...get ready we seniors are going to get our $250 bump in the next couple of months. I am so underwhelmed by the BS and the smiling and the gullibility.

He is working the apathetic America....and the average American is buying it.

I still stand by my premise of weeks ago...let's see where we are on his first address to the nation...not these hollow anecdotal updates he gives periodically.

Where are the tangible results. Things are getting better!!! As evidenced by what? How about some facts? Musta not been in the telepromter.

Sorry, I haven't seen anything yet that shows results of any actions taken.
And I don't buy well written, well read speeches that make one feel good. Where are the results.

Sorry if I expect too much...I am a victim of real executive expectation!!!

Its either 100 days, the Easter Egg hunt or something. You would think he is inventing all these things.

I know this sounds like sour grapes but this President is doing all the things I predicted he would do during the campaign, but he says it so nicely.

He has gone back on just about ALL of his campaign promises already and continues to con this country so far left that we will never get back.

I have great fear for future generations.....depend on the Government for what ails you....dont even think about having individual success...it is frowned on.

The polls are funny.....as of today......he has a very favorable poll number, while decreasing just slightly...HOWEVER....

In February the same polls showed that 62% of the country thought we were winning the war on terror....it is now at 42% !

28% of those polled think the terrorist are winning...the highest number since Oct 2007.

And this, and by the way all this is from Rasmussen......

37% say this country is on the right track,,,55 % think it is on the wrong track. When you break this number down.....60% of blacks think it is on the right track...only 34% of whites.

Maybe, and we can only hope folks like him but can see what he is doing to this great country !!

And to your point, this President who said the first 100 days didnt mean much and he did not want to make a big deal of it.....another Obama special.

Dont listen to what he says...watch what he does !!

I agree the all of the 1st 100 days fanfare is getting tiresome. But it's not like the president is initiating all of the buzz to get attention. IMO it's more the press (the need to make news vs. just reporting it) and the public in general, due to his popularity.

Lost in all of this discussion is the need to remember, how did we get in these situations at home and abroad, and what are the alternatives to what the current adminstration is trying to do. Do nothing? Do a little bit? Do just a few select things? Who knows...History will be the judge.

But, to your point about issues....there is no debate anymore...we just will do what we are told !!!

And that includes the corporations and the banks along with us schlubs !!!

Yes to all. More wearisome is what is and will be happening to this Country in the next several years to follow. No freedom, no safety, no common sense, no competence in the White House.

Default Plenty of talk …..very little action.

I am getting very nervous

Auto Task Force…..
GM is now being told what to do and run by the Government and is very close to bankruptcy. Fired the their CEO???

Chrysler is now / soon to be owned by the UAW (55%) or soon to go into bankruptcy.

Pensions will soon become a thing of the past. If you are lucky enough to have one…you better watch out to make sure your company doesn’t go bankrupt …if it does the Government will just take over and pay you half what you are getting now.

I guess I don't believe that the sky is falling.

Difficult times all over the place, yes. But the good old USA has been through them before, with a variety of leaders, and found ways to come out of them.

Read some of the "fine print" in the money being spent both in the stimulus bill to the states and to the corporations !!!

Follow the money and see where it actually lands and what it is used for....watch who runs the census which is not supposed to be political....see if there is REALLY any debate on national health...

These are a FEW of what is not overcome in our lifetimes if ever !

AND it has only been 100 days !!!!

All this talk about how bad this administration is, after only 100 days??? Come on people, if you don't like the man, just admit it, without hiding behind all this other crap. You really think ANYONE would make a difference, as bad as things are, in 100 days?????!!!!! At least this president communicates, and doesn't act like a self-righteous holier than thou King. I don't agree with everything that has been done, either, but don't you think you all are being a little hasty in bashing, after only, again, 100 days?!?!?!?!

Default RCT I for one do not expect much to have happened in 100 days!!

In that you are absolutely correct. What I am tired of is the constant ballyhoo by him, his cronies and his media about how much he has done.
All he has done is TALK. He is a good reader of prepared text...in that he excels...I guess.
However as proven by all politicians in general, talk is cheap. And all we have to date is a lot of talk. A lot of money thrown at ill defined problems with no follow up plan but to throw more money if thy ask. The administration has and is mortgaging the financial future of this country so far beyond the comprehension capability of his followers, they have no choice but accept his rhetoric.
He has apologized for America's actions abroad in the guise of befriending the enemy and openly trying too hard to show he is doing a better job than his predecessor....at ANY cost.

I will judge him as I have said after one year in the job. I don't care how many days have gone by....what has he done that has manifested in the benefit of we the people? Nothinh....YET! What has come from the billions invested to date VS the intended benefit of we the people? Nothing!
What will come from the billions and trillions being commited? Another sore point for me. There is no measurable commitment....EVER!
So how does anybody ever know what is working or not? He tells the people via his media darlings and the people say OK....

Nope you are 100% correct don't expect too much in 100 days....many of us don't/didn't.

He scares me, too. He is pushing his socialist agenda so fast I can't keep up. I wish I thought he wanted the best for America, but his actions don't show that he does. Between him apologizing, all over the world, for America, and Michelle saying that America is a down right mean country, I have a hard time thinking that they want the best for us.
