Mere partisan ranting BS!

btk
btk: Wall Street Journal carried an article a numbers years back wherein they explain just prior to the Iraq invasion Saddem's Republican Guard relieved Syrian guards along the border overnight. Some folks seem to think that WMD was a massive and deadly supply when in fact that is not the case.
The WSJ article left one with the opinion that Syria might have taken custody of Saddem's WMD. Did it happen????? Iraq had no problem burying airplanes in the desert so WMD would not have been a problem

As to all the bantering back and forth between conservatives and liberals can't we just agree that for the sake of humanity the demise of Qaddafi, bin Laden, et al has been for the betterment of the world

It's not the point. Just because what you say has truth does not make it any less a de facto violation of the Executive Orders of Gerald Ford; updated by Jimmy Carter and updated again by Ronald Reagan.

If you go down some street and kill a drug dealer who's selling "death" to children, you will go to jail for the rest of your life. No one going to sympathize with you.

Did we ever send troops to Libya? I must have missed that. I know we had some airplanes there for awhile, but none got shot down, at least that I read about. And while I'm not in favor of the decision, I think we sent just 100 special forces troops into the entire region of Uganda, Kenya and Somalia.

Yes, we sent troops to Libya, not a large number though. Add those to the 100 sent to the African countries and we have troops that have been put in harms way by our current president. I think he sent more to Afghanistan also.

katz, sorry no troops stepped foot on Libyan soil in 2011. Maybe you were thinking of the 1950's when we had 5,000 troops there.
