Default Decaying of the mighty MArine Corps Air Forces

While the USA pays out billions to other nations and are quick to write a check to any special interest or minority group, continues to emascualte the military capability of America.

The following article....video and writing....paints a dismal picture of our once mighty Marine Air capability.
To be begging and canabalizing to keep a minimal force ready is truly discouraging and disgusting.

Stories like this are not carried by the politically led mainstream media.

Having been personally involved with the Marine Corps Air Station in Beaufort, SC it is heart wrenching from a personal and patriotic point of view.

The current administration is derilict in it's duty to keep America prepared.

Since they do not care and are lame ducks they have no remorse, care, responsibility unless it affects them or their agenda directly.

Budget cuts leaving Marine Corps aircraft grounded | Fox News

And for those who will immediately jump on the source (Fox) just keep your peanut gallery opinion to yourself and for once try to focus on the subject at hand. Which some day could affect your survival.

Oh, I doubt it. They'll print as much as they need when the time comes.

The military industrial complex gets more than it's fair share. This is more propaganda than a real threat to our national security. Borrow more, so the military can protect us, from enemies we've created.

I do believe that this one is on the Congress not the President.

I remember the budget fight this was the only way out and now Congress wants to keep it up!

I assure you it IS propaganda/theater.

Are they out of money at MCAS B? It's quite possible. But the REASON is purely political for political purposes.

In addition to the above reality, some of the better informed who populate this site may also recall that the above is very similar to the shape " Slick Willie " left our military in when he skipped town with trucks full of goodies .
We had jets that could not fly due to a shortage of parts . Ships that were not mission ready and even nuclear subs that had to be idled for lack of maintenance funds .
So those of you who place your faith , beliefs and trust in HRC try just try to accept that the OPs statements are true .
And those who choose to believe that all will be well with the Queen in charge will be the first to scream when we are caught unprepared to deal with some major defense emergency . And no doubt they and their beloved CNN and MSNBC will be quick to blame it on GWB .

Ted Cruz is going to get full military budget through Congress on first try. He is going to lower taxes for individuals and corporations.

While we make jokes and laugh and pick on each others verbiage it is the folks in uniform who are paying the price.

And in the event the USA really had to respond with all it's resources it would become even worse.

Can we defend ourselves with less tha 50% operation ability?

Have you done anything about it?

Have you written to the congress that is to blame? Most likely not. Just like the rest of not in my backyard, I am not or need to be involved.

Hence the do nothing administration starting with Obama and the steady decline of our military supported by the do nothing we the people.......3rd world here we come.

As has been said before by differing folks. The enemy that will exact it's biggest toll on the standing and strength of America is and will be from within.

We haven't had a "budget" since the 90s. A budget is where what comes in, matches what goes out.

I think the DoD got enough...

The Obama Administration's fiscal year (FY) 2015 budget requests a total of $560.4 billion in funding for the Department of Defense (DoD), including $495.6 billion in the base discretionary budget, $6.2 billion in mandatory funding, and $58.6 billion in supplemental funding for Overseas Contingency Operations (OCO).

They've outsourced and contracted out WAY too much, that's where a lot of the budget goes. They pay civilians obscene money to deploy. War is a money maker.

If they can't afford to fly, it's their own fault. Bring the troops home.

You might want to inspect that Defense funding a bit closer. Not all of it goes to the military. As a matter of fact, one year when I was curious, I found that a large chunk actually went to Hawaii's health care system. Amazing what gets put into some of these documents when passed around for a vote. Each state likes to put in it's little piece of pork.
