We'll need to watch the news and see the video tape to verify.

You trouble-maker you! Looking to stir things up? Might as well put it in Political Talk now.

In answer to your question: Palin -it would have to be a really, really, really cold say in hell before I would be there. I did go to see Robert Kennedy in Williamsport, PA when I was in college, but I was much, much younger then.

The Daily Sun said 1,000 people showed up. Probably less.

Oh sure, try half a million divided by one thousand and you would be closer to the truth.

Default Do I hear the sound of a fishing boat???

Is that bait I "see" being thrown to the unwary?

Let's see how long it remains civil.

Happy Thanksgiving to y'all.

Well, I met Jimmy Carter when I was a grad student. I don't believe I am admitting that. Who would I wait in line to meet today? I am still thinking about that. Maybe Sir Paul.

WE attended Jimmy Carter's Sunday School class when we were in Georgia. Short line to go through Security.

Saw him at Joe Robbie Stadium in Miami more than a few years ago. Free buzz from just sitting in the stadium. The drug of choice hadn't changed for that crowd since the late 60s. GREAT show.

We had a rally for Dick Nixon at Duke U. when he was campaigning. He was a graduate of Duke Law School.

What is the attraction to Sarah Palin. She is an attractive, possibly inteligent lady that was and is, way in over her head. I guess the attraction is the same as so many give ball players and actors. Why are they sooo special? We have our idols all mixed up, in my opinion. LB
