All true, and if nothing to hide, why such a colossal attempt at cover up.

Watching Spicer today tip toeing was something to behold.

It's not the act that gets you, it's the coverup.

"WASHINGTON — Mike Flynn, President Donald Trump’s former national security adviser, has told the Federal Bureau of Investigation and congressional officials investigating the Trump campaign’s potential ties to Russia that he is willing to be interviewed in exchange for a grant of immunity from prosecution, according to officials with knowledge of the matter."

The coverup is almost always worse than the act.

In this case though, the coverup AND the act (Trump's lie about being 'wiretapped' and all of the other lies he just makes up) is so bizarre and amateurish, as to be comical...if it weren't so damned serious.

We need to forget the fact that Putin was so scared of Hillary that he pulled out all the stops to keep her from being elected...and concentrate a minute on the clown show in the White House.

If Chump and his peeps are so inept that they just keep stepping in it and making everything they touch turn to $hit...WTH is going on behind the scenes with our country and the rest of the world?

The ramifications of the amateur hour show we are witnessing...is downright scary.

It wouldn't surprise me in the least, if all of a sudden we were involved with a 'conflict/war' somewhere soon...because Trump thinks that might take the spotlight off of him and Putin.

Scary indeed.

I want to understand what point you make.

Comey came to Obama about the interference. Obama would not go public with that information. Imagine what the Trump campaign would have said about that.

But, then, we knew only about them hacking DNC.

Since then, as the investigation continued, there is now a criminal investigation into ties between Trump campaign and Russia. That was verified during the hearings last week.

So, not sure if your point. Also, since then added to this is Trumps claim if wiretapping. That takes it up a notch.

All of his life, Trump has embraced conspiracy and had no problem publicly stating them. This is just one of the reasons I, personally, am so sensitive to these quirky websites, etc. I have watched Trump for many many years, well before The Apprentice and I really know his style.

This makes sense...the Russians knew they has a fish who would bite.

"Donald Trump’s willingness to embrace Russian disinformation was one of the reasons Russia’s interference in the 2016 election worked, the Senate panel investigating the president’s alleged ties to the country heard on Thursday.

Decades of Russian covert attempts to undermine confidence in western institutions, including planting or promoting false news stories or spreading doubt about the integrity of elections, will accelerate in the future unless the US confronts so-called “active measures”, several experts testified to the Senate intelligence committee."

When Trump was just one of 16 candidates, no one cared about the Russians hating Hillary.
It became an issue only when Trump won the election.
Perhaps if Obama and Comey had released the info when they had it, Trump might not have won the primary.

While Obama probably should have, he would have then been viciously attacked...as trying to manipulate the election.

Comey's action one week before the election, albeit possibly benign in intent...had exactly that effect.

By Obama taking the high road however...America is certainly now traveling the low road.

If ignoring it was the high road, why isn't it ignored now?

Perhaps you did not hear HRC during their debates.....most Trump people did not listen to what she said.....

During the third presidential debate, Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump squared off for the final time leading up to Election Day. Ultimately, Donald Trump pulled off an Electoral College win (despite losing the popular vote by millions of ballots), and since his victory, there have been numerous questions about Russian involvement in the election process.

According to the CIA, Russian involvement was deliberately designed to help Donald Trump win.

Hillary Clinton said that very thing while debating Trump for the last time. She accused Russia of helping propel him to victory, and she called on Donald Trump to rebuke Putin and the Russians for their alleged involvement in the 2016 election cycle. Donald Trump refused, and despite multiple reports that the CIA has uncovered credible evidence that Russia manipulated the election, he is still refusing to condemn Russia or even concede that the CIA is — or, at least, could be — correct.

Seriously?

Go back and read my post again, slowly this time (you can move your lips if necessary)...and then tell us how Obama is involved with this investigation.
